Band works great - even for tall and heavy
I do like this band a lot. I find I wish it was a little longer...but then I hung my bar over my 8' full reach height (I'm 6'4" with long arms) and I am not very flexible to get my foot high enough to put into the bottom end. I get it done...but it requires a 3 step ladder and I'm sure it's still quite funny watching me try to pull up my leg high enough to get it looped under my foot, lol! If anyone is concerned about weight, I am 260 right now and the band doesn't have any problems with my weight.But... all that funny "contortionist stuff" said...when I get DO get my foot in there...and I step off the ladder - it's awesome to be able to do a respectable "set" of pull ups before I can't do another....and then a few minutes later to do it again. I've done chin-ups before (usually just a few) but never got more than a single wide grip pull up. With the band I can do 15 to 20 before failure I go fast, and a solid 10 if I go slow and really feel the contraction of the lats. Of course the second time I do it I can only manage 5 or so....I ended up buying the next size heaver band too. I want to be able to do even more - like my weights, something like 3 good sets of 12-15 reps to really work the muscles in my back. I'm pretty happy with this set up.

Must have for any home gym!!!
Must have for any home gym. I started my first round of p90x in 2010. After completing numerous rounds and beginning my own variation of workouts I must say I so wish I had this pull up assist back then. I used a chair to help. And while I increased my numbers I still never felt I was getting the best workout. It's easy to cheat with a chair. It's NOT easy to cheat with this band. And THAT I love!!!! I've used it 3 times a week for the last 3 weeks. Before I could do 1-2 unassisted. Now I'm at 4. And only getting stronger. I am sore exactly where I should be. I'll be ordering the next band very soon. My husband is a beach body coach and I never wanted him to spend the money on their pull up assist. He laughed when I ordered this. I demonstrated it last week. He stood there silent. This band works! I ordered the purple for my first one (was able to do 1-2 unassisted and my weight is 115).

Absolutely wonderful tool.
These bands are amazing. I have been stuck at 3 pull ups for months. Tried a friends band and loved it so much I bought my own. I should be unstuck soon. I am now doing 10-11 assisted pull ups and taking 6 seconds or more to let down. Tried doing this with a chair and could only do 4. I can see and feel the difference in my back biceps and shoulders already. So can my friends. Probably going to order another size soon. Highly recommend these bands to help you get going doing the best bicep building exercise there is. Top trainers say, "Forget curls until you can do 10 good pull ups."

Wonder Band !!
Exactly what I needed to help me do pull-ups. I'm 5'2" weigh 125 and was struggling, ok, not struggling, HELPLESS when trying to do a pull on my total upper body gym... until... I got the ACF Pull Up Assist and Resistance Band - although this is my first week using the purple band, I can now do 8 assisted pull ups where before I couldn't even do one. For anyone trying to work on their ability to complete a pull-up, I highly recommend these !!!

Personal trainer approved!
My personal trainer uses this band and suggested it to me. I am very pleased with the red band I purchased and use it at home in my work out routine. Also plan to take it on vacation because it is light weight and packs easily. A+ for product and shipping.

Great for travel
I received one of these bands from the company at a promotional price, in exchange for an unbiased review of the product. I use these bands primarily to add resistance to exercises that I do when I'm traveling, since they are very portable. The bands do a great job of this: e.g., doing pushups with the black band hooked around my hands and stretched across my back makes the pushups considerably harder, especially at the top of the press. These bands are very high quality and get the job done.

Great product
I usually don't like to write reviews on products unless I have put them to good use for a few months. I purchased the red and purple band and they have been great. Still strong as ever and useful for so much!

Owned for only a week but really getting some great use out of them
Owned for only a week but really getting some great use out of them. Great quality for the $$. The added assistance is just enough to complete a few more reps. Over time this should really help with my overall pull-up strength.
