I was deciding between two brands and ordered this one because it had the fastest delivery, which I needed. I am using this for post op breast surgery and it has been fantastic. I use it all day and all night. When it arrived, I had to fluff it up and give it some time to expand. I gave it two days, but suspect that one would have been fine. The fabric is soft and the quality is high. I have been using it for a week straight and it is great. During the day I use it to prop myself up to work on my laptop or read. At night, I push it back and it gives me some incline while sleeping (or I use the arms to rest my head so I can sleep on my side). I'll add other small pillows as needed. Because of the shredded memory foam, it is pretty versatile. I'm sure that I will continue to use this for reading in bed long after I've recovered from surgery.

I sized up because so many reviews made it sound limp and not fully stuffed. That was not the case. Mine came and filled out fully within minutes. Its kinda too stiff for me. But it's not bad, I just hope it starts to get some give. I dont use it as much as I thought i would but when I'm hurting or uncomfortable it does help. I'm pregnant and getting heart burn so i use it to sit up in bed until I can lay down again.

I am so happy with this backrest. It is comfortable and supportive for my achy back. I like that you can remove the cover to wash. It was easy to remove and put back on. It has a nice long zipper so you don't have to fight getting it back on. There are even two pockets, a large one in back and a side one too. Follow the directions to let it expand. Mine has no chemical smell what so ever as some reviewers have complained of,. I could not be happier with this purchase.

I had surgery and this was recommended for my recovery. I'm so glad that I bought it. It gave me the support that I needed while living on the sofa. It is larger than I thought but it turned out to be ok. It is very stiff. You get used to it.

I have couches that turn like 90 degrees up where the armrest is so if you want to lay and watch tv it’s so uncomfortable even with a pillow. I was searching and searching for SOMETHING to ease the angle whilst being comfortable. I tried this and it is perfect! Sometimes the arms hang over the sides a little (it’s a little wider than my couch) but I don’t even care. I’m so happy that I can be comfortable leaning or laying on my couch for the first time in forever!

Upping opening up my package I was so disappointed & thought for sure I would be returning this tiny, limp little thing. after about ten minutes of kind of fluffing it up it still wasn’t amounting to much. I gave it a total of an hour to completely take shape & massaged it vigorously -this helped tremendously. I’m so pleased with this product. It’s so comfortable to sit in bed & read or watch my movies. I will be purchasing one of these for my mom. 10/10 would recommend, just massage massage massage !!!!

As soon as this pillow opened, it had to go outside where there’s hot sun and wind to air out those toxic fumes. I read that memory foam manufacturing gives off a lot of chemical odor. My memory foam mattress is only 3” deep. This pillow is stuffed maybe 8" thick with shredded foam at the base. I read that fabrics are routinely manufactured with a wide array of toxic chemicals. This pillow has been out in the sun and air for 3 days and it’s not ready for me to put my head near it yet. When I ever try to use it as a reading pillow, I’ll adjust my rating. There's too many toxic fumes in our dailyenvironment. UPDATE: The pillow stayed outside airing out for 5 days. To use it, I covered it with towels and another pillow at the base. It helps cover the odor. It's a sturdy pillow and holds up well, so I gave it another star, to 2. I'd give it 2 and a half, if I could.

I love the pillow. But the description says it is machine washable and dry-able. I went to wash it this morning and it says spot clean only. Do not wash or dry in the machine. I would have never bought the pillow if I had known that. I keep it on my bed and it’s disgusting not be able to wash it. This is definitely false advertising. It was way too expensive not to be washable. .
