Jamaican Mango Black Castor Oil - Coconut (4 Ounce)

I bought this for a friend with a serious bald spot about the size of a silver dollar pancake that you could see back of head , he was reluctant to use , but after a bit of convincing he gave it a try . What is it about men that they're their own worse enemy , lol ~ He was just dipping finger in and rubbing that finger on , I set up a way for him to follow with tweaked tribal chocolate hair treatment , shampoo , then the oil ~ I'm not kidding that spot is now with hair , long hair like the rest of his hair , he now uses it once a day in morning or night before bed , I have had him bend his head down so I can see , everyday the spot if you did not know where it was could not tell ~ I'm using it a bit for a widows peak that had been damaged by a heater that burned the tips of my eyelashes and brows ~ I have only been at it a few days , so far nothing , but will keep at it , and report in a week or so . This smells amazing , and he does not mind it , which is good , otherwise I'd have to sneak in and place oil on his head for him , lol ~ ///=^ } ~ Give it a try , you can't go wrong . !!!!

I have been natural for a few years and now that I've decided to grow my twa out I've been using this Castor Oil. My hair type is between 4B and 4C and this castor oil makes my hair really soft. The oil itself is quite thick so it makes my hair feel fuller and thicker. It smells REALLY good....like coconut. I also love that this bottle came with a small plastic stopper type thing in the cap to prevent it from leaking/spilling out of the bottle when it's closed. The last bottle that I bought at the beauty supply store did not come with this and the lid is stripped so it keeps spinning and spinning. It could also potentially leak in my bag when traveling so I was never able to pack it when on trips. This bottle from Amazon, however, travels quite well and this is a huge plus for me since I'm a flight attendant. Oh and the price from Amazon was a lot less expensive than if purchased at my local beauty supply store. I highly recommend and will be buying from Amazon.com from now on.

I was hesitant to purchase this product because I'm always nervous about trying new things for my hair. I have a short/brush cut/fade hairstyle that I've had for 10 years, and I've experimented with many different products in search of the best one. Thankfully, my search is finally over. Recently, I noticed some thinning/balding on my left temple, which made me quite worried. Living in Chicago, where the winters are cold and dry, has always been tough on my skin and hair. This year, in particular, I noticed that my hair and scalp were extremely dry, regardless of what I tried to maintain moisture. I started using this product in late December 2023, and I'm already experiencing a noticeable and positive difference. The oil itself is on the thicker side, but that means you don't need to use much of it. I absolutely adore the scent—it's become an obsession of mine. I highly recommend this product.

I never leave reviews however I had to for this oil. This oil is amazing. My hair has never been this thick before. This is a must buy if you want really thick hair and it smells wonderful.

At the time when I was starting my beard growth journey, I looked up videos on how to grow a fuller thicker beard. I know better now and my beard has grown more since I switched to better oils and discontinued the castor oil. When I brought this, I did know that this was a heavy oil. I heard from guys on YouTube at the time that this helped THEM grow THEIR BEARDS. So I tried it out to see if it would help grow mine more. At first I applied about 3 drops , morning and night daily twice a day for each week. It smelt wonderful. I love putting it on my beard. However as the weeks went on, I started to get heavy bumps and lumps under the skin of my beard. So I limited my use of applying the oil to 3 drops once a day. Also to mentioned, I did wash my beard out twice a week to keep it clean from oil build up. But I also noticed when I used this oil on my beard that it kept getting smaller and thinner. At the point of realizing that, I discontinued using it. So it's not a bad product, just know what and how you will use it for before buying.

Well, well, well. Given the varied reviews I previously read I was somewhat hesitant but after ordering a 2 pack on good faith, I was so glad I did! The smell is very faint and not in the least overpowering which is good for everyday use. I apply this directly to my scalp and massage gently and it feels divine. Almost has a tingling effect for a few minutes. Definitely make sure to wash your hands. Oil residue in your eyes is never a good thing and yeah. That's about it! Oh and to help it penetrante into scalp and or strands thru massage, spray a light leave in and your hair will be sure to drink it right up! Update: Because castor oil has more emollient properties and is thicker compared to let's say grapeseed oil or almond or jojoba this actually works GREAT as a heat protectant if you ever want a sleek straightened look on frizzy hair. The drier or more porous rather ...dare I say...it works just as good if not better than using morroccanoil hair treatment!

I've used this product for some years now. My hair required a heavy, thick oil and this product suits my needs. It keeps my very dry hair sufficiently oiled.

L'odeur, la texture (assez liquide), et la composition me conviennent. Pour l'instant je n'ai pas de désagrément, je l'utilise un jour sur deux et je ne mets que ce produit "au quotidien" sur mes cheveux (j'évite les combinaisons d'huiles et eau). Mes cheveux ont l'air bien ! Il faudra attendre un peu pour voir si il favorise la pousse (bien que je n'ai pas acheté ce produit pour cet aspect là). L'odeur est exquise.

Hair loss due to illness, can see baby hair growing back! Only downside that I don’t mind at all, it that it stains, now have an allocated pillow case for when I use it. Also not obvious if I wear it at work, colleagues comments on how lovely it smelt.

El aceite huele genial, deja la piel súper suave. Lo estoy utilizando para atenuar mis pecas y para las cejas. Respecto a las cejas, no veo resultados porque llevo solo unos dias usandolo pero el producto en sí me gusta y es consistente sin ser tan denso. El producto ha llegado al día siguiente de haber hecho la compra.
