Dragon Grips 5"x7" Multi-Purpose Rubber Grip Tape, Black

Great product! Very easy to use and good price. Easy application and I liked the ability to cut it to the exact size I needed. Adheres really well. Works amazing, great grip ability! I used a little on the sides of my phone case too, for better grip of my phone, works great there as well! I highly recommend this product.

This material while pricy does work excellent for its anticipated properties. Feel like plastic and isn't rubbery like I expected. Marks and cut easily with regular scissors to shape. Preheated part and tape with heat gun and applied. Adhesion so far is excellent, time will tell if it stays put. Gotta get these prices down guys (you the companies) if your ever gonna make the Made in USA economy work. UPDATE: Severals weeks in and this tape is still firmly attached with no signs of peeling, still excellent! UPDATE: After more than a week of daily handling and use this tape is staying put no peeling on the edges whatsoever, impressed so far! UPDATE2: 5 months later this is still holding up excellent. The item is handled all day everyday Very impressive!! UPDATE3: A few months later now and the tape is still securely attached but has now lost its gripping ability. The tapes textured surface has become glossier and less "tacky" and now slides as if no tape were there. I handle the item daily so I suspect that is why.

I bought a set of Dragon Grip tape to put at strategic spots on a Samsung Galaxy S9 case which was still too slippery as the TPU material is just too hard and smooth. So I figured some grip tape would be worth a try. The Dragon tape is easy to use and affix and bonds well when following the instructions (use a blow dryer to heat it up and set the adhesive) and were definitely an improvement over the phone case. None of the strips I placed on the case came off, dog-eared or collected dirt. So a win there. Sadly, over the two years I've had the phone, the grip tape has definitely smoothed out and become quite "grip-less" so that the tape is now ineffective. This is from having the phone in my jeans pocket and on the desk at home or work. So it's not seeing a lot of dirt, moisture, chemicals or any other degrading products so this was just from friction placing the phone in and taking it out of my pocket as well as holding it. So, knowing the tape has a roughly 2-year life span in this application, it's not bad. I did use the remaining tape for other applications, all of which seem to be in various stages of grippy-ness which indicates it does wear out over time no matter what. At $10 for the pack and the reasonable number of uses I got from that one pack, it's still a good value. I think it's a very good product but I do wish it remained a bit more grippy over time.

I was skeptical of this at first, then I applied it and used it for a week so far, and I think it’s a great product. It’s very grippy, but not like sand paper grippy, just the right texture to keep hold of your phone for times you need to use it one handed, and still be comfortable. The sheets allowed to customize the way I wanted. Though my cuts are not perfect, the function is the same. I can keep hold of my phone, and still use the MagSafe charger. I cut a spot for the MagSafe because I don’t want any added thickness between the magnets, weakening the charge power, or their hold strength. I put the piece I cut out onto the back of my MagSafe just so it didn’t go to waste, plus the MagSafe is just as slippery as the iPhone without a case, so that helps make it grippy too. For the past week, I was worried about them starting to peel off, but, so far, it hasn’t. When you do your own cuts, make sure to round the corners if you can, just so it is less likely to peel off at the corners. I think this is a fantastic product. It would be great to see more color options, design options, etc in the future. But, right now, I don’t really care if my free hand cuts looks pretty, it just gets the job done. Great product. I plan to buy a few more sheets for some other projects I’m working on.

This tape was exactly what I needed. Covered my otterbox phone case with it and I couldn't be more pleased with the result. I had been wanting a product like this for a long time. Very sticky on the adhesive side. The grippy side isn't TOO grippy, just enough for it to be extremely helpful. I can stick my phone under my arm when I'm trying to do three things at once, and it doesn't immediately fall to the floor. Wonderful! As an incredibly clumsy person, I will find other applications for this I'm sure.

Not grippy at all. This is just texture. The actual material is very hard so it slips no different than the surface you are trying to make tacky. Not the right product for the application.

I use these to fix slippery surfaces on products and they provide the perfect grip. They are easy to cut with household scissors. Here are 4 life-changing examples (ha ha.... not really life changing, but I smile when I use these things, as I feel I have cleverly fixed something the original product desginers botched): (1) the pinch grip on my Canon lens caps. I cut little thin pieces of material on each of the pinch-grips in the center of the lens cap and I can now easily grab the tiny lip on the lens caps without slippage. (2) on the battery lid of my GreenWorks electric lawn mower. There's a poor design where the place you lift the battery cover is angled, so your hand slips when you try to open the battery cover, which I do a couple of times every time I mow the yard. If I'm wearing work gloves it's even worse. I cut some of this material and put it on the under side of the battery cover and problem solved. (3) On our LG washer. The LG washer has a sliding door on top that you push back to access the soap/softener/bleach area. The place you push is, like the GreenWorks battery cover, angled and smooth. WHY???? Your fingers will slip off unless you are a gecko. I cut and placed a strip of this grip tape on the front of the lid and the problem is solved. (4) On the back of my iPad. I didn't want to add a heavy grippable case to my iPad, so I put a few strips of this on the back and voila - now I can read for long periods of time without slippage. Much lighter and smaller than a case. So far this tape looks great, has shown no signs of wear, and sticks well. For really small applications like the Canon lens-caps I've used an Exacto-knife to cut instead of scissors.

Because the back of my cellphone has a camera bump out, it won't lay flat, which is very annoying, so I purchased this item on the advice that this product would work. Actually, it wasn't thick enough, but I managed to cut what I needed and had enough left to use for a double covered area next to the camera lens and the bottom part. Now it will lay flat, and it won't slip. I love that it's clear, so the color of my phone still shows through. The product was easy to cut to size and place where needed. I'm hoping it will stick for a long time. Thank You!

I bought a very pretty Sonix MagSafe compatible case for my new iphone 14 pro, but the sides of the case felt very slippery. I added a magnetic ring grip to my case but still felt like it needed better grip before I could confidently use my new phone. I decided to buy this clear dragon grip sheet and cut it to size. I added the grip to the bottom sides and back of my phone where either index rests when holding my phone in one hand. The clear grip was PERFECT since it didn't cover the flower designs on my case. My phone feels extra grippy now! I can finally switch my sim card and use my new phone without feeling scared that I'll drop it. For $13, I do feel like the hand-sized sheet of dragon grip was pricey, but after applying it and feeling it I would over all highly recommend it! Its very easy to cut and shape to your liking! I followed the instructions and lightly heated the case using my blow dryer, so hopefully the adhesive lasts. I'll update the view once the tape has gone through daily wear and tear as I use my phone, but from the start this adhesive and texture feels high quality! Lastly, packaging messaging was a nice touch. Very happy customer!

Wanted to try some on the sides of Spigen ultra hybrid zero one case for my S23 Ultra and ao far it works great and has added more grip on the sides.
