This bag is awesome. I have a couple of them. It really does hold a lot of items. It is my go to bag. Also compartments on the inside too. Well made. Great price.

How would you rate the firmness of the material? Good sturdy structure?

It's not "firm" and well structured. That is why I really like it. I can cram it into another bag -- like a briefcase. It's a great bag with lots of zippered compartments and a large capacity. I carry it for all my travel now. The stitching, fabric, and construction are excellent. I recommend this bag.

Yes, the big pouch on top has 2 zippers and you could put a very small lock on it. the small side ouch only has 1 zipper.
