Perfect
This is the only type of these silicone popcorn makers I have tried and most of them claim to be the original. I just chose this one because of the size, price, and shipping time. I used it with only popcorn and no butter, salt, or oil. The popcorn popped in less than 3 minutes with only a half dozen or so u popped kernels. I debated on whether to get one of these or an air popper. This works fast and the simple cleaning and compact storage makes this a great choice. Being able to control what you add to the popcorn to flavor it is the main reason I wanted this. The bowl and lid do get kind of hot but not that bad. Overall, I'm very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone that likes popcorn. Edit: I've been using this almost every day and just love it. It's surprising how much popcorn a quarter cup of kernels makes. It doesn't fill the bowl but it's more than enough for 2 people and the silicone lid keeps the leftovers clean for later snacking.

Excellent
Love this thing! I use it almost every day, easy to use, easy to clean. Works like a champ and pops almost all kernels. Collapses for easy storage.

Mess-free alternative!!!
Game. Changer. I have been using one of those whirly-do stovetop popcorn makers (the one with the crank), and decided I needed a better method because the process was a messy pain. This (or these, because I bought the 2 pack) bowl eliminates the stress of waiting for the oil to heat and the constant crank motion—which, if we’re being honest isn’t all it’s cracked up to be because I burned the hell out of the bottom layer almost every time. My first (and so far only) attempt at making popcorn in the bowl tonight was beyond successful. I didn’t use oil (not needed, but optional), and absolutely added a few too many kernels-but they all popped and NONE burned. 🤘. Because of my overfilling negligence, it was tricky to get out of the microwave—one because it was so full it didn’t fit and 2 because the bowl did get hot. The handles stayed cool, but I had trouble grasping them while simultaneously navigating through the door to avoid spillage. The photo was after I put some of the overage into a secondary bowl. Made PLENTY, and even if it didn’t, the convenience would have me nuking a second bowl without complaint. Amped though. No oil. No burning. Dishwasher safe. Kid loved helping without the risk of a steam/oil burn. 10/10.

It Pops Corn
What else can I say. I was given a big jar of popping corn and rather than throw it away I bought this to pop it in. It is flimsy feeling, but does the job. You end up with a big bowl of plain white, popcorn until you add something to it. I used olive oil and salt and it is okay, but a far cry from theater popcorn, and not as good as a bag of popped, seasoned popcorn from Dollar Tree. But I will be thrifty and use it. I took off one star because I wish it wasn’t quite so flimsy. However, I like that it is collapsible and doesn’t take up much space. On the popping time: I put the kernals in just to the line nearest the bottom and set the microwave for 2 minutes. It took a few seconds to start popping and I was getting nervous, but eventually it started. The popping was not as fast or frequent as the ones you buy in bags, and since there were some negative comments about it burning, I stood right over it. The second. it sounded like the popping slowed (about 10 seconds early) I took it out. It was mostly all popped, but there were quite a few unpopped kernals, so the full 2 minutes would probably have been just about right.

Best Air Popper
I love this microwave air popper. It’s super simple to use and clean. I’m not sure why the Amazon description says to use oil because the instructions clearly say not to. That may explain why some people are having burning issues with theirs. You can’t just set your microwave and forget it. I have a low wattage microwave. I make one serving of popcorn which is 3 tablespoons of kernels and it’s ready in 3 1/2 minutes. I like to spritz mine with a little olive oil spray, sprinkle on some salt, then I toss it with a spoon. The popcorn comes out beautifully every time. The bowl is super simple to wash out, providing you hold the bowl by the base. Just put your palm on the underside of the base of the bowl, and you’ll have a firm grip. That’s the most rigid area of the silicone. Holding it there allows you to quickly wash it out. I don’t even bother putting it in the dishwasher because it’s so simple to clean. The same for the lid. I use a linen towel to dry it off and it’s perfect and ready to go within seconds. I’m not sure why there are so many reviews about struggling to clean it. This is a non-issue. I’ve had numerous air poppers in the past. They were loud, took up too much room, and threw hot kernels across the room. This makes popping healthy popcorn super easy. I love that it folds down for easy storage. My only complaint is the packaging. It comes in a weird square bag with the packing label slapped on top of it. The bowl was square shaped when I took it out of the bag. But washing it with hot water and one use in the microwave brought it back to its natural round shape. Now I don’t have to purchase those bags of “healthy” popcorn… that always contain too much fat and salt. I highly recommend this popper.

Space saving healthy popcorn. Fair price! Amazing invention.
Wow this is an amazing gadget. Space saving. I was afraid popcorn would be all over microwave because the lid sits sort of loose it rises as popcorn pops and goes sideways a tiny bit but popcorn stayed in bowl. I was skeptical it'd work as good as my airpopper...it works faster, quieter and tastier. 1/4 cup 2 min in my microwave healthy quick snack! You can repop the kernals at the bottom if no butter in bowel. Didn't get too hot to take out of microwave. My old air popper took up lots of space, had iirratating lid, made huge mess at end pops (so popcorn all over counter) and tons of left over unpopped kernals not to mention cost two & half times this. I am sending these as Xmas gifts!

All the kernels actual pop!
I have read both the positive and negative reviews on this product and I was hesitant to even use it. For some reason, only positive and good showed up at the time of my purchase. After it arrived, all the bad and ugly ones showed up. I just used it and LOVE it. I did not experience any of the negatives I read about. The bowl was not so hot that I couldn’t touch it, but of course I never pull ANYTHING out of a microwave as soon as the timer goes off. If they did this, I guess it may be hotter than the 30-45 seconds I gave it to cool with the door open? Not sure because that’s not how I use a microwave. Anyway, I digress. All but 4 kernels of popcorn popped. This is unheard of! I think everyone is getting one for themselves this year for Christmas! I’ve made popcorn in a glass Pyrex bowl and it stayed so hot for 5 solid minutes so the popcorn wasn’t as tasty by the time I could get it out of the microwave and all nooched and peppered up and ready to eat. Oh and about 30 kernels never pop with this method. Super easy to use, worked better than expected, and the popcorn was delicious!

The healthiest way to approach popcorn snacking : )
It's great! Works as it should, simple to use and with a little experience you can customize your popcorn portions to fit your needs. Easy to clean also, I'm so glad I was clued in to the existence of this product because I initially thought that if I wanted to air pop I'd need to buy a countertop popper (which I simply don't have room for).

Works great
Works Awesome, a bit difficult to take out of the Microwave because of the handle on the lid catching against the top of the Microwave. But still give it 5 stars and use it multiple times a week. Makes Popcorn taste way better than the Microwave bag stuff.

Well worth the purchase.
This product surprised me at how simple and good it works. I use a Inverter Microwave Oven and it only takes 3 minutes to pop, any longer and you risk the popcorn burning. Just be careful when taking it out of the microwave as it is very hot to touch.

Too Easy
I don't know why I was doing things the hard way thinking that it was the best way (stovetop). This thing is awesome and fast and virtually mess free. Holds quite a bit (for me and my partner) and if not enough for ...makes it super fast to make more. Would buy again, will buy again. Would recommend to anyone. No oil needed. Easy to clean. Stores easy. LOVE.
