PANASONIC SC-HTB208EBK 2.0 Wireless Compact Sound Bar

Really well put together compact soundbar. Sound quite is much better than the TV it is connected to and works really well in the bedroom it was purchased for. Connected to an xbox and it really makes a difference to the sound. One great thing is when you turn it off with the remote control all the lights go out (so no stand by lights to mask to keep the bedroom dark)

It is a good size for the sound quality. Rather better for base sound than treble and perhaps is unusually a little weak on the higher frequencies. It links in with our panasonic TV and recorder and mostly initiates with them but not absolutely every time which is a little dissapointing. The units own hand set is extreemly annoying as the units reciever is very directional and is set so you have to stand up to get the unit to respond. As the TV hanset works the volume it is not the end of the world but is a definate design failure. The unit could do with a better sound frequency adjustment method too as the current three settings do not give enough variation and all have a definate base sound default.

Very impressed for the price. We didn't need anything too powerful but the sound quality is great for voices and music. Bluetooth works well and it fits perfectly underneath my Panasonic TV

Good: very neat and sits between the TV stand legs of my 40in TV (main reason I decided on this one). The sound might be slightly better in that the speakers point forward instead of backwards like on the TV, but really I couldn't tell any difference. Is cheap for a branded product and looks good.Bad: Why spend money to get virtually no sound improvement? ****There is a lip sync issue****: maybe not everyone would notice but once plugged in the sound and vision are about 1/4 second apart. I found that both irritating and unacceptable for a supposedly good quality brand product.Overall it may suit some if all you want is your speaker to face forwards but I was very disappointed by the product.

I purchased this Soundbar as an upgrade to one I have had for a few years. The sound quality is an improvement, but there it ends. I connected up using the optical input but no way could I get Lip Synch I tried adjustments etc. to no avail. I decided to try HDMI Arc but I couldn't get any sound out of the unit, despite trying 2 different sources. So now, my old Soundbar is back in place (incidentally that is a Panasonic too) and I am using this one in the kitchen as an expensive smart speaker for my phone music.

good sound quality and perfect size for going under gaming monitor. description says hdim but its actually hdimARK which is input only and will not output sound from pc and because there's no cables included you will have to buy a optical audio cable to get it output sound from pc when bluetooth isn't a option. I thought it would at least come with the necessary cables in the box

The sound is good and crisp for voices and excellent bass and LOUD. The settings for different sounds don't make a massive difference.Annoying facts. When you turn off your Samsung TV and turn it on again hours later it defaults to internal speakers and you have to select soundbar again. Also, it turns itself off when TV is off so you have to use remote to turn it on again. Worth the money on a special offer though. Almost bought a second one for another room. Irritating factor - when you put your TV on mute to take a phone call, this soundbar turns itself off after 5 minutes - so suddenly TV sound comes on loud.

For the price it offers decent sound. If you want better sound than the TV speakers, it’s better than the TV speakers. It offers good dialogue and sound. It has 3 preset modes which are music, cinema and standard. Standard is good for normal TV. I would recommend this because it does the job. Better than I expected!!
