It's everything I expected. If I had to find any shortcomings, the remote has a very short range. However, it doesn't impact anything important.

Overall, I really like this desk lamp. The brightness is great and I love how wide the light is. It covers my desk and monitors really well. The only downside for me is that the center arm isn't flexible, so you can't move the whole light to the left or right once it's mounted. This ended up being a bigger issue with my desk setup than I expected. I have my monitor arm mounted in the center of my desk, which is also where this lamp would ideally need to be mounted. Since I can't shift the lamp over while keeping the light centered, I had to mount it off to one side, and now only one of my monitors gets good lighting. I really like the light itself and would have kept it if the center arm had more flexibility. If you don't have a monitor arm taking up the center of your desk, this probably won't be an issue at all.

I was expecting a lot more light than what this throws. The remote is glitchy. It attaches firmly to the desk and looks really nice. If you only need minimal light, you will probably be happy.
