Lifeproof Fre Case for Galaxy S5 - Retail Packaging - White/Clear/Gray Sooo...I've had an amazing experience with this case. My first case I bought back in 2014 when I purchased the Galaxy S5. I wanted to make sure it would be safe and this case looked pretty cool,and was the only one in the store that advertised waterproof. It is waterproof by the way, and shock proof. That case has kept my cell phone in near mint condition. Looks like new. I have dropped that case, and have had water splash on it while kayaking. Did not feel like at had to worry about it. SO AFTER THREE YEARS! I have to buy another one. I think the warranty is only for one year, but it lasted way longer than I thought. After three years the buttons on the side of the case had worn and popped out. The volume and power button. Besides that it was still in great shape. So I'm hoping that I will have the same run of luck with this second case. Keep my phone safe for another three years. By then I should have saved up enough money for the newest generation of Samsung cell phones. LOL. =)

I am extremely rough on phones and I am constantly dropping mine. I cannot tell you how many times I have dropped my phone with this case on it and not a single scratch....check, there's not even a scratch on the darn case. I have gotten wet with no issues. I had an otter box on my last phone and dropped it in water and the phone was ruined. So I go out to buy another $400 phone and almost bought another otter box. Then I can to my senses and thought "I just had an otter box and it didn't protect my phone" and went with the lifeproof. I am extremely happy with this case. It's worth every penny. I mean, who has money lying around to go buy phones every time a drop or spill occurs. Liverpool is the only case I will ever buy again.

best case for this phone, durable, waterproof, has saved me many times. i go on the ocean surface and also hobie sailing and take pics. I have capsized with it this company's products are great. purchased the same type for my upgraded phone it is also excellent. second purchase of this particular case, since clueless repair man damaged my previous one when replacing the battery

What I do as a human: I’m clumsy and I drop things. I like to go swimming, kayaking, biking in the rain, hiking, and other water/dirt filled things. I need a case that when my lovable dog decides to steal it, I won’t worry about chasing the big loon in the middle of a rain storm for him to drop it in the middle of a nice big mud-puddle (dog test- human approved). To get the one gripe out of the way right now: Yes, there is an echo, just like everyone else has said, if you pop off the charging port cover it goes away. For having this case a little over two weeks and using it in the above conditions, the echo thing really is the only quality issue. The negative one star is just for that small inconvenience and if I could I would make this case a 4.5 star item. I bought three cases when I first upgraded to the Galaxy s5 (all in white or white/grey). The The Unicorn Beetle PRO Series Full-body Hybrid Protective Case with Built-in Screen Protector and the Caseology Slim Fit Skin Cover. I will be using these two to compare to the Lifeproof case. The Caseology Slim Fit Skin Cover (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IJ1OLFC/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_18) was off-white rather than white and just didn't feel like it could handle a drop. Right away I knew the case wasn't for me. The Caseology case also didn’t come with a screen protector built in like the other two- something I think is a MUST for any phone. The pro with this case is it’s price, $8 is a good alterative if you have a small budget and you can always buy a pack of screen protectors. The Unicorn Beetle PRO Series Full-body Hybrid Protective Case with Built-in Screen Protector (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IUIL4SQ/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_13) was so, sooo, close to being a winner. It looks and feels great, all the buttons are easy to use, and the case is a good fit. The bad: when I took this in the pool water would get under the built in screen protector, and I was nervous because the charging port didn't have a cover like the Lifeproof case offers. It also didn’t have a headphone jack cover, which added to my apprehension to bring it in the water. This case would be great for someone who doesn’t plan to bring their phone in water for long periods of time. Runs about $19 here on Amazon. The Lifeproof Fre Case for Galaxy S5 is the winner for me. I brought this to the pool and it worked wonderfully, when my dog dropped it in the mud it held up, and when I dropped it at the bar I didn’t have to worry. It is pricy, but after trying out the other models above you get what you pay for. $80 is a lot for a case but I would rather pay the $80 and protect all the pictures, videos, data, memories, texts, and time it took designing this phone to exactly how it is, then not protecting it and spending a couple hundred for a new phone. **As one small personal dislike, I hate how the back of the case is see-thru because I hate how the GS5 has the ugly dimples on the back. It’s small and stupid but I hate the dimples on the phone itself.

My first phone case, straight out of the store, was identical to this one (except for the color). Was good for about 5 years before the plastic started deteriorating and falling apart. What got me looking for a replacement was when the plastic started smearing onto the camera lens protector on the back. (If you can imagine a lens getting dirtier instead of cleaner when cleaning it... with rubbing alcohol)... Looked around for a new case, but didn't find any that fully covered the screen or, equally important, the camera in the back, like this case does. My phone needs the full protection because of the environment I work in. Can't comment on any sound quality difference, as this type of case is the only case I've ever used from day 1. But heck, it sounds good enough to me - not very picky when it comes to that. As long as the person I'm conversing with on the other end can hear and understand me, and I can hear and understand them, that's what matters. But I'm also one of those people who only use my phone for 2 things... occasional calling, and occasional texting... OK 3 things - taking LOTS of pictures! XD Overall very satisfied with this phone case.

This case is both good and bad. First off, my husband and I got these cases to protect our brand new Galaxy s5 phones. We considered them cheap insurance so to speak. We are pretty sure after about 2 months of use that they are muffling the sound when we talk to people, they can't hear us very well. The good part of this case is it really does seem to protect the phone because I took the kids to a pumpkin patch at Halloween and accidently dropped my phone without realizing it. I went back but was too dark and had to wait overnight then early the next morning I found it in the patch and it was still on (though low battery) and it was wet from the dew, but still worked just fine! The case really helped me out! My husband has dropped his phone a few times, even on the hard Lowes Home Improvement floor and the phone still works fine. So in one sense these cases really do protect the phone and the only negative is people will say they can't hear you and we have Sprint as a carrier so there shouldn't be any network issues.

This has to be the nicest and easy to install waterproof covers on the market. Only draw back is that the built in screen is staticy. Once you wipe it off and it look free of dust, install immediately, or you'll have to start over again. You may have to try several times anyway. The best way to reopen case is to use a quarter in to two slots at bottom of unit. DO NOT TRY TO PRY OPEN WITH A SHARP OBJECT! You may damage the gasket inside. But, that is the hardest part of getting this cover on, otherwise it just snaps together and you done. Once you get it on and its dust free on the inside, you never have to worry about taking it of again, unless you want to change covers. You'll love this case!

You can't beat the price! Old phone gets new life with the kid. 2 piece case, water resistant headphone extension, and a screen cleaning cloth.

This product is exactly as advertized. Affordable and protects all surfaces of this phone. Great value for the money. Definatly a lot cheaper than replacing a broken phone

This case is for my boyfriend's phone and he loves it! Unfortunately, there wasn't a choice for color, but it can't be beat as a durable phone case.
