OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER SILVER H4, +100% more brightness, halogen headlamp, 64193NBS-HCB, 12V, passenger car, duo box (2 lamps)

Purchased these the H7 bulbs to replace some cheap non-branded ones, and there is definitely a noticeable improvement in brightness and visibility, especially on darker roads and in poor weather conditions. OSRAM advertises these as providing up to 100% more brightness compared to standard halogen bulbs. Obviously, without specialist equipment there’s no real way for the average person to measure or verify those claims accurately, but compared to the basic bulbs I replaced, the difference was clearly noticeable in real-world driving. That said, if you are expecting the kind of brightness you get from factory xenon or modern LED headlights, then you probably need to adjust your expectations. These are still halogen bulbs, so while they are an improvement over standard cheap bulbs, they are not going to completely transform your headlights into something they were never designed to be. Installation is no different from any other H7 bulb and was quick and straightforward. As always with halogen bulbs, it’s worth avoiding touching the glass during fitting to help maximise lifespan. One thing I was slightly concerned about before buying was longevity, as higher-performance halogen bulbs are often known for shorter lifespans. The manufacturer states around 550 hours, but mine have now been installed for around 2 years and are still working perfectly fine. I imagine a lot depends on how much night driving you do and how often the headlights are used. The light output also appears slightly whiter and clearer than very cheap standard bulbs, which helps with road sign visibility. Overall, these are a good middle ground if you want better performance than budget bulbs while still keeping decent reliability and staying road legal without modifying the headlight units.

Quite easy to install, the car design makes it awkward not the bulb design. Fit perfectly in the slot and gripper. Perfectly made. The car has no issue using these, no errors shown. Huge improvement over a standard bulb, everything's is more visible in all conditions. I no longer get flashed at by people thinking I've only got side or day time running lights on. The car is poorly designed with the lights. It's a 5 door Grand Vitara 2006 and folks always thought I only had the dimmest lights on and I couldn't see much down to the pants design of the car. These are a huge improvement. Not cheap but the improvement makes it great value tbh. 100% is recommend these bulbs.

4 x H7 fitted to 2023 Kia Ceed replacing pretty poor OEM Osram L marked long-life bulbs. Noticeably brighter with further reach, light quality now adequate but nothing stunning. Went for these rather than the more expensive claimed much brighter options as compromise of light vs lifespan - we'll see how that works out... As on many vehicles, changing the bulbs is a challenge due limited access so don't want to have to tackle too often.

I bought these to replace a pair of Philips Long Life bulbs in my Toyota. The difference is outstanding. These are significantly brighter, especially noticeable on poorly lit rural roads. By far the best bulbs I've used. Even the dipped beam pattern is more sharply defined. Excellent value and fast delivery with Prime

Very bright yet still long lasting

I bought these to replace a pair of bulbs, one of which had blown. I don't know whether they were the original bulbs but the car is 9 years old so I doubt it. These Night Breakers are very much brighter than the bulbs I took out and provide a much better light for night driving. Installing them was easy but of course all cars vary slightly so your mileage may vary. I can't speak for how long they last as they've only been installed for a very short time. I would certainly buy these again over the cheaper bulbs I've bought in the past.

I've owned my DS3 for 2 years, and it's on the 3rd set of these in dip already, they do not last at all. In the same time It's stil on it's original set of Nightbreaker Laser Main beam bulbs whic hare supposed to have shorter lives! I like the light output and colour but they are proving a costly option!
