Great modern obd
A very good cable free on board diagnostic machine. This obd also has wifi built it in and the obd socket is bluetooth. So everything is competely wireless. When switching the computer on the first time you will need the serial number and passcode to proceed. Which is in a card in the box. Once this is done you connect to your wifi and and the you can update all the software and any updates it has for vehicle models. This comes with free up dates for life! I have an older handheld obd. Which doesnt have wifi and I have to plug into a pc and update from there which is a hassle and time consuming. So this machine is brilliant for easy up dates. Everthing is touch screen on the device. Is charges via usb c, there is a plug provided with different country plug pins. There is a good tough case provided to store the machine. The obd socket is wireless with bluetooth. It charges when connected to the machine and on charge. Once you find your odb port in your car. You plug in and the machine will automatically find your car. It bleeps to remind you to remove the obd socket when you finish. My friends Vauxhall Insigna 17 plate had an Engine Management light come on. This found the code right away and said it was a clutch pedal fault which you can see pictured. This deleted the code and has not come on since. So this machine will pay for its self rather than going to a garage. Good value obd. With free updates for life. Very simple to use. All wirefree and updates though wife. Its one of the best obd's ive used for the price. Would highly recommend

Good Scanner for car diagnostics
This is really a good tool that is value for money. It has more than 28 resetting functions and many more. The Bluetooth Connectivity is really strong, and the VCI dongle is securely housed in one part of the scanner. It is amazing. It is handy. This clearly displays fault codes and clarifies the issue in detail. The product is highly compatible, and you can use this diagnostic tool with many car brands.

Easy to use works on Dacia really well
This is an amazing bit of kit I work in a multi franchise garage inc Dacia and there is nothing it canโt do money well spent and slowly paying for itself has updated itself many times already straight forward and easy to use just as good as more expensive makes the garage use.

Good
Not failed me once yet. Helped me solve many car issues. Every car I've tried it on, it has worked. You do need to have a little knowledge to be able to use it well. Never had battery issues; it always charges, and because I don't use it a lot, it's always ready to go. It comes with a carry case that holds everything, including the cable and charger. Wireless OBD is a must if, for example, you're testing something to do with sensors like wheel sensors and things. You can view live data too. I have a convertible, and it even reads the roof computer and separate rear window ones. It will also make a file to print a health report for the car you're testing; I've used this, and it works well. I'm glad I got it, and I think it is worth the money. It's reliable, and the OBD has never failed to connect. It's not that hard to use, and generally, auto search will find the car.

Make sure you clearly read the advert and the small print.
So far I have no complaints about the operation and quality of this piece of kit However I was little intrigued at a little box warning at the bottom of the advertisement which warns of the possibility of ending up with an Amazon return unit thus being second hand. They give you an email address if it turns out that you end up with a second hand one with an assurance that they will replace it with a new unit. (Not amazon) Nevertheless I ordered it with this in mind and took extra care on receiving the unit to film myself opening the box. The unit was wrapped in industrial cling film with sellotape which was not a very professional this led to suspicions on my part that I had indeed ended up with a second-hand unit. Before proceeding any further I contacted Amazon customer services who unusually directed me to a UK person who although polite was quite officious and indifferent and told me despite having spent hundreds of pounds on this one unit that I had two options the one was to contact the manufacturer or accept a return email and refund on receipt of the unwanted product. As I wanted to use the product that very day I was left with a conundrum did I remove the cling film to find out the condition of the product? I also telephone TopDon UK who told me they have no connection with Amazon and were constantly having to answer telephone calls of the same nature inquiring about a new unit because of a suspicion of a second hand one. They were very helpful but as UK distributors themselves and not the manufacturers they could not advise me and that the manufacturers were in China. Faced with this conundrum I had to concede that I was on the back foot with two options one fraught with risk. I decided to take that risk and tear off the cling film. It was difficult to say if this was a second-hand unit or not when I decided to set the thing up and register it although I'm not sure whether I am the first person to use it. The good news is it did what it was supposed to do and found faults on r vehicle that I would not have otherwise been able to find had I returned and waited for a replacement which could have been over a week. Amazon have always been excellent regarding customer service and complaints however on this occasion I found the indifference an unhelpfulness disappointing. Full marks for the product mediocre customer service on this occasion.

easy to use
Awesome device, I am just a retired home mechanic, I used to do all the jobs on my car myself but not have to get a garage to do most of them so I bought this to check the car fault codes and stuff so I dont get ripped off lol, it is a great bit of kit but I was supprised the bluetooth dongle that goes in the OBD2 port I had to pair with the main unit myself, do big deal but would be nice if the factory did it, it would show it had been tested. but yeh 10 out of 10 for me.....

TOPDON ArtiDiag800BT total con
To start with why is the Topdon 800bt reviews mixed in with the simple AL200 OBD scanner they sell for ยฃ25. One is a simple OBD scanner for ยฃ25 and the other a do all tool for ยฃ400+ I would think it is to mislead people into buying the more expensive tool which is ยฃ400+ I have 2 cars which are both Suzuki and on neither car would the auto vin work. Yes it has all the car makes listed which all looks good but just how many of its functions will work with each car. Very very few from what i found. To test out i tried 2 of the maintenance and service options and surprise surprise on both functions Suzuki was not listed, in fact the list of cars for the chosen functions was very very small. Yes they cover just about every car if used for a simple OBD scan which any scanner can do for under ยฃ20 but try and use any of the functions and very few makes and models are covered. Yes i did all the updates. I email Tomdon support friday and get a reply on Sunday to say they do not work weekends and will be back in touch when they start work. 3 days later still no contact. Watched a lot of utube reviews on this before buying and they were good and they include links to take you to Amazon to buy. Just how many of these reviews are honest? Not many i think and not surprised if they get the scanner free for a good utube review. Topdon support, what support? Total waste of money and a device costing a fraction of this could do the same job. Nearly all cars covered doing a scan but very very few covered if you want to use any of the other functions. Save your money unless you are after a ยฃ400+ paperweight. High amount of good amazon reviews are because they have linked their cheap scanner to the ArtiDiag800BT. Will be sending this back to Amazon as i feel i have been conned into buying this by Topdon. Update a week or so after leaving this review. Sent back to Amazon for refund- Thank you Amazon. Topdon support never did get back to me so dont rely on any support from Topdon. You can get the 800bt (same as this with lifetime updates) from a well know auction site for a buy now price of ยฃ250.

Value for money.
I have spent quite a long time researching various semi professional DIY OBD scanners and for the cost this absolutely offers the best value for money. So far Ive used it on a handful of vehicles and it has always worked first time every time. It has an auto VIN search function which is great and very fast to identify the vehicle. From there it will then do a full system health diagnosis of the vehicle searching for active and historic saved fault issues. It just simply works and is a pretty quick device. Initial setup and ongoing updates are easy to do simply press on what you want updated and it downloads and installs automatically. Lifetime free updates as well. The whole device and it's software functionality are great. Bluetooth dongle rather than a cable makes using the device way more effective as you can have it wherever you need to be. Cannot recommend enough for the enthusiast who wants a decent level device without spending thousands. Also worth noting the Topdon website has a very easy to use vehicle checker to check vehicle compatibility.

Amazing scan tool for the price
Great tool, I always use it when going to buy a car or diagnosing errors on my cars. Live data from modules shows me if mileage has been tampered and autoscans VIN's to get the right model to diagnose.

So far the best DIY scan tool I own
I've been on the hunt for a scan tool for awhile that is easy to use, has special functions, and is bidirectional. This one has it all and under a thousand. Your not locked into one make of vehicle like some smart phone versions. It allows you to scan all modules for trouble codes command certain functions for testing, and perform module resets or procedures for easy repair or service.
