More whoosh for a very reasonable price
Install is a breeze. No tools required, and I did it in under 10 minutes. The sound difference is definitely not as huge as a dedicated intake. However, there is noticeably more spool noise, even with the windows up, and lots more recirculation valve noise (compared to stock) when letting off throttle under power. The additional fun sounds you get for the price really make this a no-brainer. Would only recommend a dedicated intake if you really have the money to blow or want really intense turbo sounds, otherwise this filter is a fantastic compromise.

It’s alive!!!
Really works well for my Fk8. Wash and spray the recharger oil for optimum dirt free air going to your intake. Makes asthe engine breathe and the response is more dynamic when you press on the accelerator. I’m Make sure to check it time to time I recommend to recharge the air filter at 10k so it’s easier to clean the media on your filter.

Super easy install! Great product and adds added turbo noises. Well worth the money without voiding warranty.

Honda Type R at 12k miles, I replaced this K&N "drop in" Engine Air Filter - nice , faint Swoosh sound and adds 4 hp per some web pages comments

The best value for the money. 5 min install. Better throttle response blow off whoosh is more pronounced.

More woosh, but not much
Does add more woosh sound (as other reviewers have stated), but not by much. If it's loudness you want an actual intake is what you're looking for, but at ~10% the cost this filter is a nice compromise. Throttle response is slightly better, and if there's a HP increase I can't feel it

Sur Civic Type R FK8 : Facile a installer, pas onéreux. Bruit d'aspiration lorsque le turbo se lance. Remplace astucieusement le filtre constructeur ! Parait que vous pouvez gagner quelques chevaux en plus ;).
