Certified Organic Black Cohosh Liquid Extract for Female Reproductive System Support - 1 Ounce (DBLKCO01)

After trying various other supplements that didn’t help finally landed on this one and noticed a big difference. Improved my sleep quality and need to wash sheets as frequently. I didn’t mind the taste, wouldn’t call it good but easy to take.

amazing stuff. i have premenstrual dysphoric disorder. and although I don't use this black cohosh regularly (the taste is not fantastic), i have been using it as needed. when i start to feel myself getting increasingly irritable, and i know it's the time of my cycle when i turn into a completely different, irate, irrational person, i mix one dropper full into a small amount of orange juice (about an ounce or two, because no matter how much juice, it still tastes like medicine, so I'd rather drink a smaller amount) and shortly after drinking it, i feel like myself again. it's not sedating or anything, it just allows me to collect myself, and gets rid of that rage/ frustration/ insanity feeling.

so... i trust this brand of extracts as i have ordered many of their extracts for years. always a great value and i feel, high quality. im using this primarily for fugus under my and my husbands toe nails, as this is the same as snakeroot, which is what was recommended. so far so good... its going to take some time.... months maybe a year, but i use a couple drops daily on the 2 toenails that have the fungus under them and i have noticed some improvement. im OK with it taking time, i can handle it! LOL

I have read all the hype about this product, I'm not rating it on what it does just yet because I've only taken it 2x as of today. However the reviews say it taste awful, therefore I got ahead of the game and placed my full droplet into a little cranberry juice and I did not taste anything bad! Buttttt, as I'm drinking it, my cup was smelling like a campfire lol! I will update my review if I notice it's working or if it's not. Stay tuned! May 18, 2024: Update: so far I don't notice any difference with my hot flashes, I always get them on and off in the middle of the night and still having them so this isn't working for me unless I'm taking it wrong?

I bought this because it was suggested to me for my very disruptive and numerous hot flashes. I don't know that I ever really figured out the appropriate "dropper" dose to have an effect on my hot flashes - so, I don't know if it didn't work - I may not have been taking enough. You might "why didn't you just take more" - one reason: the taste of this stuff is horrific to me. I can only describe it that this stuff smells and tastes like what I think lighter fluid or gasoline would taste like. It was so repulsive (to me) - I decided to just keep having the hot flashes and purchase this in a pill form next time.

It is the sugar alcohol they use makes it taste really strong and gross. If you put a couple drops under the tongue it isn't so bad, but it takes time to get used to how bad the flavor is.

I tried this for about 3 weeks, and in that time there might have been a slight reduction in the severity of my hot flashes and night sweats, but no reduction in their frequency, which was about 6 times a day and every night respectively. Add to that the fact that it tastes like essence of witch hazel, and other reviews that said that it worked "right away", I started looking elsewhere. I started using Ching Chi Body Balancer for Women and it works much better for me. After about 2 days I noticed a marked reduction in the severity of the hot flashes, and after about 10 days they stopped altogether. The night sweats stopped after about 2 weeks. Maybe the Black Cohosh primed my system, but I am much happier altogether with the Ching Chi.
