This is a great little addon to any Wyze Cam Pans that you intend to mount outdoors. It is very easy to install and looks great when on the camera. I have this installed in the northeast so get our fair share of bad weather (Snow, rain, heat, etc). It has lasted several months with no visible wear. The camera still works perfect and the bracket is holding in place as well. I am very happy with my purchase so far.

I bought this sleeve to use my Wyze Pan Camera outside. It works just fine. The only issue i have and others have said the same thing is when in night vision mode, there is a reflection of some of the light into the camera. You can bypass this in 2 ways, don't use night vision mode (not really an option though, defeats the purpose of watching the area this camera is covering) or 2, put some black tape on the inside of the lip by the camera lens. I've used black electrical tape to help stop the reflections of the IR LEDs but since this is a silicone cover the tape doesn't last long. The next step is to try black gorilla tape and see if sticks any better than the electrical tape does. I would have given this 5 stars if it wasn't for the IR light from the LEDs reflecting off of the case and back into the camera. The reflected IR light doesn't flood the camera only gives a halo effect at the edges of the detection area.

I don't know if I didn't read the description well enough or what, but I HAD been looking for a camera to use for online viewing (not for security, just for an animal cam). This had been recommended on another site. While technically it CAN be viewed remotely, it's NOT online, so there is no way to say, display the live feed on a website. It's ONLY viewable by an ap. That's absurd. You literally have to have your phone running the ap in FRONT of you to catch ANYTHING and it won't even record unless it's the top ap. WHAT'S THE POINT?! It's NOT wireless. In any sense. It needs a plug. That sucks even more. ****Read ON**** BUT . . . . It's cheap. VERY affordable actually. IT WORKS. It manuvers soooo well like an owl head! It's CLEAR. Nice video detail even at night (we are talking about a phone picture though . . .) It's Easy. It's pretty much plug and play. **** I was sooooo disgusted it wasn't online. I was going to throw it away (it's literally useless for anything other than curiosity factor). And that's when I found it . . . . You CAN HACK the camera. You can FORCE it to go online. There's another ap called "TinyCam" and it works with ALLLLL cameras like this one and turns them into livestream cams. It gives them an IP and allows LIVE viewing 24/7. You just need an OLD dedicatd smart phone to forward the IP address to your router. Find directions online at tinycam website and you'll be off an running (hint, it's not a simple set-up) Bottom line, it's a nice cam, but the features suck. I will only be buying the one camera unless they come out with another version with a rechargable battery . . . I can only run sooo many extension cords . . .

This thing is great! After connecting to a wireless network, easy via smart phone; set up is a breeze. You can pan left/right, up/down (remotely). Speak through it, actually hold a conversation if you wanted. You can adjust resolution, do black/white, snap shots or full video. You can set up alert zones to where it sends you a message on your phone that movement was detected in that zone. While its not weather proof I will be setting it up under my entry way which is covered. We will see how it holds up. So far, very impressed.

Was a bit skeptical about the rubberized skin that just covered the cam. The speaker holes and the micro sd slot don’t seem very weather-proof but I’ve had mine outside in the elements for over a month and I’ve had zero issues so far. Slight glare at night from my garage light reflecting off the skin but not a deal breaker. I suspect it may not be very wise to mount the camera upside down and still be weather-proof being the skin does not provide protection for the underside of the camera.

I have owned several brands of home cameras and for one reason or other, they will quit working. The last three I had, the dude who wrote the app refused to update the app so I have 3 cameras I could view if I were home (not the purpose of them obviously) because they would not work if not on my home wifi. I bought one of these Wize cameras and wow, so easy to set up and very clear. I love that it will follow movement. I bought the outer waterproof cover for one of the cameras and have it set up on the patio so I can keep an eye on my dogs and the waterproof cover actually works! I have three of these cameras now. And they are way cheaper than the other ones I've purchased in the past!

I like the look of the case. It fits the camera well and was easy to install. The underside of the camera, where the micro SD slot and setup button are, remains exposed and may need to be covered somehow to prevent water or dust from gathering. The real problem I have run into is tightening the ball joint well enough so the camera doesn’t flop down. I think it would be okay at a 90-degree angle, but my situation requires the camera to lean ~100 degrees. This in addition to the plastic tightener have forced me to then over the ball joint and let the camera hang down at 90 degrees. negating some of the weatherproofing qualities of the case.

I was surprised by how well made it was and how tightly it fit the camera. As you can see in the picture, the bracket lets the camera see down the street while being partly protected by an overhang. Originally, since I knew the camera could flip the image, I was hoping to mount it upside-down in the center of the garage door. It would be nice if they made a second version designed to cover the bottom of the camera and have the hole for the lens near the bottom of the cover. One there would have to be a hole in the top for the USB connection that you sealed with silicone.

Tengo bastantes camaras de estas en mis propiedades, para poder darle seguimiento y seguridad de quien entra, quien sale, quien hace que dentro y fuera de la casa. Funciona de dia y de noche, y todo controlado desde la app del celular.

No funciona ni lo recomiendo seguramente con una leve lluvia se mojara

Como protección contra el polvo es buena, pero para lluvia no creo que tenga la suficiente protección.
