Will this fit a Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x24?

Absolutely! I've had a 1-6x24 Strike Eagle mounted on my Aero Precision AR-10 for over 5 years now. I hunt pigs in Texas with this rifle. Its bounced around regularly and not babied and its held zero with NO issues the entire time.

What is the height from top of rail to bottom of ring?

The height between the top of the base to the bottom of the scope rings is 1 inch, providing 1 inch of vertical clearance.

Will it fit a 50mm objective scope?

That depends on the tube size. Tube sizes are generally 1 inch or 30mm. The objective lens is the front, larger lens on the scope, so that size is irrelevant. I used this for my Barra H30 4-16X50 scope and it works great. My tube is 30mm.
