Cetaphil DermaControl Oil Absorbing Moisturizer SPF 30

This is the first and only product that has not upset my skin, I have acne due my PCOS which gives me oily skin. Everything makes me breakout but this! This hidrates and protects my skin. It feels so nice to be able to care for my body in a way that it likes it. It’s liquid and non heavy. This is my face with it, not oily at all!!!

This moisturizer is perfect for oily and combination skin. It feels very lightweight on the face and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy finish. The oil control works well throughout the day, especially in the T-zone, and my skin stays more matte compared to other sunscreens I’ve tried. I also like that it has SPF 30, so it protects from the sun while moisturizing at the same time. It doesn’t clog pores or cause breakouts, which is always a concern with sunscreen-based moisturizers. The texture is smooth and works well under makeup too. Overall, it’s a great daily moisturizer for anyone with oily or acne-prone skin who needs hydration and sun protection without the extra shine. It lasted me about 6 months

Ive tried tons of SPF moisturizer and they either are too greasy or leave a white cast on. Not this one. Works very well, died not leve white cast and does not feel greasy. However, it has a stronger smell while applying, but leaves quickly after it dries up.

So, I recently tried the Cetaphil Sunscreen Moisturizer with oil absorbing properties, and it's amazing! It keeps my skin hydrated without that greasy feeling that so many other sunscreens have. While it doesn’t leave me completely matte, it does a great job of keeping my oils at bay throughout the day. My only issue is that when I sweat, it tends to burn my eyes, which can be uncomfortable. On the bright side, since I started using it, my skin looks healthier, and I've noticed my dark marks fading, probably because the sun isn’t able to darken them anymore. Overall, this product is a solid choice for hydration and sun protection! Oh, I’m a black woman and it doesn’t give me the ghostly white cast. After me annuh duppy! lol

I have struggled for years with that mid-day T-zone shine that ruins my makeup, but this moisturizer acts like a primer and hydration step all in one. The oil-absorbing technology is not just a marketing gimmick; I can genuinely feel it working. It manages to hydrate the dry patches on my cheeks while simultaneously keeping the oil on my forehead and nose in check. It gives my skin a velvety, soft appearance that lasts well into the afternoon, significantly reducing the number of times I have to reach for blotting papers or powder. Another massive win is how gentle it is. My skin is reactive and prone to redness, so I am always hesitant to try new active ingredients, but true to the Cetaphil reputation, this lotion is incredibly soothing. I haven't experienced a single sting, itch, or clogged pore since incorporating it into my daily routine. The fact that it packs broad spectrum SPF 30 protection without that dreaded "sunscreen smell" or the stinging sensation around the eyes is impressive. It integrates perfectly under my foundation, preventing it from sliding around, which makes it an absolute staple in my morning regimen. It is rare to find a product that tackles sun protection, hydration, and oil control so effectively without compromising on any front.

I have pretty oily skin, so I've always hated using mineral sunscreens. I've used Shisedio's Ultimate Sun Protector before, which I love. However, it can be pricey so I only use it when I'm at the beach or want some extra water protection. As for the Cetaphil, I really enjoy using it for my daily routine and you get a good amount for the price. I don't have to worry about trying to ration or "conserve" the amount I use. Compared to mineral/physical sunscreens, I like that the Cetaphil is nice and thin. It makes applies very smoothly, dries quickly, and actually helps with my oily skin throughout most of the day (I apply toner before my sunscreen to further help with my oily skin).

Products looks great. Really friendly scent and light texture feels really nice, it "melts" on your face, you can actually feel the hydrating part of it and the sunscreen protection. This purchase was intended to by my "all in one" after my morning face wash BUT after using it since first day cause extreme eye irritation after some minutes. Be careful using it in the eye area if you have sensitive eyes as me. I definitely NOT recommend it if you intend to go outside or have an intense work/routine that may cause sweat mixed with this enters into your eyes. It's a letdown since it did't felt greasy and kept my face without excessive oil. I've kept using it with extreme caution not to put it around eye area, probably will end up changing it.

Lightweight and absorbs quickly without feeling greasy. Controls shine better than most moisturizers I’ve tried and doesn’t clog pores. The SPF is convenient for daily use and doesn’t leave a white cast. Works well under sunscreen or on its own for everyday protection.

Works well and did not cause me to brake out in spots, which is always a risk for me. So if you have spot prone skin , this would probably be a good product to try. SPF was good and provided excellent protection, as long as you reapplied every so often. Shame it is so expensive. I would however recommend but as others have said, if it gets in your eyes, it stings like crazy! So if you’re face gets wet and it runs in your eyes (as happed to me,) you’ll definitely know about it.
