Sony Portable Am/FM Radio Home Audio Radio Black (ICF-P36)

It's got a tune light. good long ariel fits in a very tight space on my bedroom table and stable on the surface.

Brought this as a replacement for my elderly dads very old Sony radio. Unfortunately this totally confused him, the buttons are all in different places. He was unable to feel the flat sliding button on the side which is 'Off' then slide up to AM and up again to FM. It is not suitable for elderly that have little feeling in their hands or that cannot see very well. Then the volume button is on the other side of the radio and the tuning dial on the top of the radio which are all different places to his old Sony. I found a lovely little radio that had the Off dial and volume in one and the bigger tuning knob just above it. This radio is now looking for a new home as it's no good to us.

Avoid buying this Sony radio very poor expected better from Sony

While the sound is good, as you'd expect for the price, I found it very difficult to turn on and off. I have broken nails to show for it. I bought this to replace a sony radio I'd had for more than twenty five years but has given up. This really is a poor substitute.
