VIKING Microfiber Applicator Pads, Rectangular Polishing Pad, Cleaning Pads for Car Detailing, 3 Inch x 5 Inch, Grey, 6 Pack

The 6-pack of rectangular microfiber applicator pads arrived well packaged (tightly wrapped in plastic). Upon inspection, all 6 packs were in good condition; no rips/tears/spots etc. I used one pad to apply some sealant to my vehicle, and the pad worked well. At first, I think it may have been so clean and absorbent that it sucked in some of the sealant, but after a while, this wasn't a problem. The pad is large enough to fit comfortably in my palm, meaning that I can grip the pad confidently and apply anything, knowing that it won't accidentally slide away from me, or just drop (happened to me often with generic circular flat pads). Washed the pad afterwards, and it appears to be as good as new. I have no idea if all the sealant was removed since the sealant is hydrophobic, but this is no problem, as I plan to use that specific pad for applying sealant only. I mean, I do have 5 other pads available! Price is very reasonable for what you get. Thing is, very few people would need 6 applicator pads, and for those who don't, they may see the 6-pack as too expensive or a waste of money. Personally, I only needed 3 pads, but I don't regret my purchase. That's how good these pads are. I can't speak for longevity, as I've only used a pad for one weekend. Will update at a later time if a pad unreasonably fails at something.

I’ve washed and reused the pad in the first photo at least five times — and it’s been through everything: detailing, polish application, test wipes. No fraying, no collapse, and after a wash, it's nearly indistinguishable from the unused ones stored in my main cleaning cabinet. These pads have a tighter, more structured feel than the flimsy foam-core types. They hold up under pressure without buckling and don’t trap product the way cheaper microfiber sometimes does. I keep my used pads in a work bucket with other rotation towels and the new ones folded and stored in my lower cabinet — organized by task, clean and ready. They’re basic, but they’ve earned their place. For car detailing, product testing, or controlled application around the house, particularly in the kitchen, they’re just reliable tools that bounce back. I love these sponges. Seamless microfiber cover is very durable and easy to clean. Works great for applying sealant or wax. Easy to clean.

I purchased these for cleaning my car and truck. The tonneau cover on the truck was looking pretty bad. No matter how much cleaning, scrubbing, or pressure washing you do it always looks dirty. If you have one you know. I used these and Chemical Guys nonsense cleaner and really brought it back to life. After cleaning I tossed them in the washer with the rest of towels and their ready for their next project.

These rags are the best for removing coatings and ceilings works for me. I would buy again.
