Great quality, low price.
Very small pickup with a huge output performance. I am using it on my upright acustic 3/4 bass and it delivers a full bodied sound. Output sound quality compares to other much more expensive pickups.

Excellent, sweet sound.. no noise
i have a few different Pickups i use for different purposes. They are Guitar pickups that i sometimes would put on my M'Biras (Kalimba like instruments). But i always hard a little hum in the background with them.. if i tried plugging it into an amp there would be howling feedback.. i wanted to record the sound on one of my M'Biras, and the humming sound could not be removed without also removing the quality of the instrument's sound.. So i went hunting.. & then remembered i already have the KNA NG-1 Piezo Pickup on my Nylon String Guitar.. Then i saw this KNA UP-2 and thought if its as good as the one i already have.. then problem solved.. i bought it.. and it's levels above what i was using on my M'Biras before. Putting the putty on as an adhesive helps to catch the vibrations, with no hum or howling feedback.. and this KNA UP-2 also has a volume control on it.. so you can decrease or increase the volume and add gain with whatever you plug it into.. it's damn near perfect..

Good volume and easy to use
I bought this for my classical guitar as an easy way to amplify it for the relatively infrequent times in which I would need to do so. To my surprise, I found the volume ceiling to be quite adequate, and the tone to be more than acceptable for what it is (one little piezo transducer pickup). It is easy to fit to the guitar using the included blue tack and, provided your guitar doesn't have a French polish, does not seem to harm the finish of the instrument.

I broke it and it still works!
I have used the KNA pickups on a couple of my ukuleles, and I really enjoy the quality that they provide, as well as the easy install. The size of a contact pick up is really important - you don’t want your hand to hit it while you’re playing, which can create a lot of unnecessary noise. The price on this item is just right, not too expensive, and definitely not a cheap flimsy item. It fits onto any acoustic instrument, though I’ve only tried it on Ukulele. It uses a contact putty, which I’ve never had an issue with, but for some reason with this one, I was having trouble getting it to stick (it’s fine now) and I pressed a little hard, and cracked the device a little bit in the process, before I had ever used it. My heart sank because I felt so stupid, and I know I love these pick ups! Upon using it, no issues! I didn’t break it nearly to the point I thought I had, and don’t have any issues plugging in the cable to use it. A great option for any acoustic instrument with no electric capability, highly recommended!

Good for the price
The adhesive sticker they give is a bit thick which causes the pickup to only catch it when you play loudly. The putty was as hard as a rubber eraser but warm water did do the trick like they advised. The putty did a better job at picking up sound than the foam sticker, but it does not stick very well. I might just use some super glue to attach this so it can pick up on sound better. For the price, it really isn't bad. The gain knob does not perform well with the foam sticker because of the sound dampening. Still though, I'm happy for the price point and it will do the job. It's hard to find an acoustic pickup for a sitar lol, and finding the right placement was easy with the putty allowing me to move it around until it was optimal. Might order another for my other acoustic Asian instruments. Definitely looks nice too, found it looks like it was meant to be on the sitar with that nice lacquered wood look.

Works great on a banjo.
I purchased one of these for my banjo, because I play in a live band. There are not too many options for a pickup on a banjo that is reasonably priced, so I tried one of these, and I was impressed with the sound quality, and I don’t get any feed back from the sound system we run. I mounted it underneath the banjo head and just behind the bridge. You can see where I mounted it, it’s that black spot behind the bridge.

Very disappointed
After all the good reviews of this, I was excited to receive it today. Unfortunately, after installing it as per instructions I noticed two things—firstly, a loud hum which only went away if the volume was either all the way up or barely on. Secondly, from barely on to almost full volume, the hum was accompanied by a shrill buzzing noise, making the volume control unusable. I was playing through my Fender Acoustasonic 40 amp, which has no issues with any other of my instruments. I have returned it, and am reluctant to try a replacement. Will look for a better and probably much more expensive alternative. Pity, I had high hopes …

I wanted to like this so much but it has unwanted cable noise
A nice looking product.. The pickup itself looks well made. It seemed like the perfect solution to electrify an acoustic instrument. The brand generally gets good reviews and people are happy with it. I really wanted to like it. However, something is off with the cable that plugs into the pickup and I get a horrible buzzing sound. Not every time, but I never know when it’s going to happen. It makes me hesitant to buy a kna product in the future. Maybe I just got one with a problem and the others are fine. Wanted to give this 5 stars but the buzzing is a serious problem.

Aynı amaçla kullandığım irig acoustic stage'in yanında mukayese bile edilmez. Keşke Acoustic stage'i daha önce alsaymışım.

GREAT sound
I did a lot of review reading on various pick-ups and decided to try this one and I am so happy that I did! Great sound and really great quality craftsmanship. I have a couple of acoustic guitars that I have never wanted to have holes drilled into or things placed into the sound holes and this pick-up totally does the trick perfectly. My acoustic guitar sounds full and the tone is really lovely.

Precio razonable y buen resultado.

So convenient
Sounds great to my ears, and way more convenient than a sound hole pickup. I like the detachable cable. Nice wood look complements the guitar. Very happy with it.
