Great beginner bow with all of the amenities in a very affordable package
Strung it up and set my nock point with a pair of pliers and was shooting in minutes. I tried a day with none of the frills on it and the bow handled beautifully. Added the felt on the string grooves and the fur string silencers and they live up to the name. The loudest sounds made are my leather glove on release and the THWACK on the target. Cutting the fur arrow rest to shape has saved the finish on my handle for the most part, but the rubber fletches on the outside do rub still. The bow has no hole for inserting an arrow rest nor one for mounting an attached hunting quiver, so it is more for the traditional shooter. You'll need an arrow stand or quiver unless you want to stick your arrows in the ground. All that said, I've gotten a great workout from my 55lb limbs and the power behind the arrows makes them shoot REALLY flat. Even at 120ft. That's about the limit of my yard's range so I'm really looking forward to finding some open fields to try for longer distance. As of right now, the bow is probably more accurate than my skill level can surpass but I look forward to many more hours of learning the art of archery.

56#@28" is a shooter for sure. Great bow for the money.
I will start with all the the great things you have heard about the Black Hunter recurve are true! It definitely lives up to the hype. I went with this one because I love the idea of a 58" bow plus this bow came with everything you need for set up. I roughly set the bow up and stepped out to shoot a few arrows. This thing feels good in the hand, hits where I look and is smooth drawing. I didn't notice any stack out to 29" and it's a pretty fast bow. I have a PSE ghost that's 65# @ 29" with maple core limbs and this bow seems to be as fast maybe faster with 55# @ 28" bamboo core limbs. Im curious to shoot them side by side to see the difference. So far very Happy with the purchase.

I can’t believe this was under $100
I’ve shot several recurve bows from factory Bear recurves to Assenheimer custom take down recurves that were in excess of $750, and this bow rates right there at the top with them. 55# is as smooth as silk, might buy 60# limbs to go with it. It has a beautiful finish, the hardware is high quality, and the matte finish on the riser allows for a firm secure purchase on the grip even in hot humid conditions. My first grouping from 20 yards was impressive literally out of the box.

Great bow! You get a lot for your money!!
Excellent shooting bow! the riser is beautiful, all my friends can't believe how inexpensive it was! I have spent hundreds of dollars on name brand bows over the years. This bow will just surprise you especially for the money! Very well made leather stringer comes with your purchase along with string silencers and self pad. I had read reviews that it did not come with pre drilled holes for site pin and rest! This bow is for traditional archery. buy with confidence.

A great bow at any price!
I have owned a lot of bows over the years. Many of these bows have been very expensive custom bows made by top bow makers. I was very impressed with the bow and it came with a lot of nice extras. The bow shoots just as well as any of my custom made bows and at a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend the bow.

Buy it...Try it...You will love it.
Im an avid traditional hunter/shooter. This bow will flat out shoot! It’s as good if not better than some of my more expensive bows. I bought the 55#@28” and it is 53#@27”(my draw). Bow is very accurate. String is pretty decent too. I upgraded to FF string. I dropped this bow from 20’ tree stand twice(windy days) and it didnt hurt it at all!

Comfortable!
After a couple rounds of shooting the day I got it in the mail, I had a grouping like this at 10 yards! I think I’m going to love it!

Great for anyone wanting to get into traditional archery
Can’t beat this bow for the price. Really fun to shoot. I’ve shot it out to 30 yds so far and can’t complain. Only thing I would recommend is string silencers, I bought the beaver fur from sinoart and it shoots much quieter now.
