No it is very light. They're designed to mimic lifelike movement without the extra weight but if you need to you can add a leader

Q: What colors have you found most effective in trolling for rainbow trout?

I don't fish for rainbow trout but have found silver\black & gold\black effective on bass, walleye, etc.

Q: How long is this lure ?

approximately 1.5 inches. Great universal lure. I would go to an f11 for night time walleyes, but this lure for a bottom bouncing rig.

Q: What is the next larger size in inches of length?

Not sure which Rapala he refers to. Floating Rapalas range in length from 1.5" to 7". I prefer the 3.5" and the 4.375" ones in Black and Silver or Black & Gold.
