Just what I needed
I wanted a very small, lightweight, packable pillow that I could use when traveling. Honestly, I wanted it to go with my hammock. I needed something that I could throw in my backpack or bike pannier that would provide a good pillow when I needed it and wouldn't take up much space when it was being transported. This meets those requirements. It has a nice covering that seems it would be comfortable and soft. It is surprisingly substantial when inflated, but you can inflate it less if you want a softer pillow or less bulk. It is easy to inflate. There is a large valve that has a flap to keep the air you blow in from escaping. It only takes a couple of puffs to get it inflated, and then it's easy to fully deflate and pack. Very nice. I have not actually slept on it yet, because I got this after returning from my last vacation, but I'm very impressed with it so far. I think it will also be good as a pillow for use on air or bus travel. Takes up almost no space when in its bag.

Perfect for airline travel
After a few hours, I find that airline seats are about as comfortable to sit on as a concrete bench. A cushion is the obvious answer, but I hate the idea of conspicuously carrying a pillow through airports. This pillow seems like a good solution. It packs very small, inflates (and deflates) quickly and is comfortable to sit on. While time will tell, an initial examination makes me thin that this cushion will be reasonably rugged. The attached storage bag is also a convenience. I highly recommend it.

Mostly good with a few minuses
The good: This pillow is very easy to inflate and once inflated, stays that way. It gives nice firm support. It packs up very compactly which is great for backcountry camping or air travel. The bad: I know it's a travel pillow but it is pretty small. A few inches larger on either side would have increased my comfort a lot. The pillow material is also a bit slick and tends to slide around on a sleeping bag, making it hard to position the pillow for a good night sleep, and possibly disturbing your sleeping companions. I still would recommend this pillow overall but it's just not *quite* perfect.

Don't want to travel without it.
I'm not a big fan of "wrap around your neck" style travel pillows so I decided to try the Rikki Tikki backpacking pillow. I was glad I did, I love the product. First, it is very comfortable. There is a thin layer of foam inside that makes it feel like a real pillow instead of a beach toy. I don't backpack or go camping but I spend a lot of time on planes and this pillow makes sleeping on the plane much better. You can lay the whole side of your head against it. Second, it collapses VERY small and stores in a bag that is sewn to the pillow so you always know where it is. I carry it on to the plane in the pocket of my sports coat, it's that small. Third, it is extremely easy to inflate and deflate. Instead of the normal inflation nipple it has an opening about the size of a quarter with a diaphragm. I can easily inflate it with about three breaths and then let a little air out to get just the right amount of cushion. The seal is tight and flat, you never feel it when using the pillow. Deflating and storing the pillow is very easy. You hold your finger on the diaphragm and start folding the pillow, you can get ALL of the air out of it this way and it fits right back into the bag.

copypasta batch review
I try to sleep on my back but often end up on my side and stomach (so I'm a "mover"). So far I've found ALL inflatables annoying in one way or another, mostly because they are too rigid when fully inflated (so if it's the exact height you want, it's probably ok), and too floppy when less-than-fully-inflated. the plastic bladder makes noise like a sleeping pad, but if you wear earplugs or don't move, it's probably fine. The ones that advertise having a soft surface usually just have a VERY thin layer of gel or foam; not enough to do anything. I have yet to try the Nemo Fillo-- that one might have enough fill. Get some pillows and return them if you don't like them. I do recommend at least trying a shredded memory foam pillow (Thermarest or knockoff). I have the Kohbi Sport Compressible Camping and Travel Pillow, and it is the most comfortable pillow I have found. I pack light, so it pains be to carry 11oz of pillow, but it's worth it for me. I also tried a smaller Thermarest at 8-9oz, and it just wasn't enough. I also recommend picking up the Klymit X-pillow or Pillow-X, whatever they call it. It's very good for a lightweight cradle for your noggin. I'm considering cutting open the Thermarest and installing an inflatable bladder, or just sewing a small pillow case that I can densely fill with memory foam. If you go the memory foam route, note that it takes days to fully expand initially. And if you roll it up to pack it, it might not fully expand by the time you want to sleep. I recommend trying to keep it unrolled in your pack (might not be do-able on day 1-2, but once you've eaten some of your food you should have room. Or just strap it on top of the pack and use it on breaks. here's what I've tried: Thermarest shredded memory foam travel pillow (small) Kohbi Sport Compressible Camping and Travel Pillow Leisure Co Ultra-Portable & Ultralight Camping Pillow Klymit Pillow X Inflatable Camping & Travel Pillow Rest-A-Camp Inflatable Camping Travel Pillow Ultralight RikkiTikki Inflatable Camping Pillow Klymit Luxe Pillow Wildhorn Sage Ultralight Inflatable Camping Pillow

Better then the rest. It's worth the oz
I never thought it would be worth having a camping pillow. Seemed like a stupid luxury item, but I got one of these Rikki Tikki pillows to try out. I loved it. Super soft, really small, weighs nothing, and comfortable to sleep on. I then figured we'll this is the cheap, knock off item, let me get something better for backpacking... But after trying different products some more expensive then this one i kept coming back to my Rikki Tikki. I only wish they would make one a bit larger. Why this beats the competition including the expensive name brands - Stuff sack is attached to pillow. You can't loose it, - Easy to fold back into stuff sack - Super soft on face, no sleeping in plastic or smell. - Easy to inflate, and deflate - Packs crazy small. - Supportive, way better then your dirty socks or jacket in a stuff sack

Perfect for backpacking/military
I am not someone who usually leaves a review. However, this was probably the best $17 I have ever spent. I initially bought this pillow as something small and lightweight I could pack in a rucksack during Army field exercises. Considering when compact it's smaller than a closed fist, it fit that need perfectly. I used this on multiple military field exercises in very rough conditions. It was perfect and really helped me sleep comfortably. I then took it on a deployment to Afghanistan. There I slept on it every night for a year. I slept on it, sat on it, used it as a back brace. The seams held perfectly and the pillow didn't leak. Every month or so of have to add a couple breathes to reinflate, but considering the use and abuse I was very impressed how well and consistently it held air. So in summary, the best $17 I've ever spent, fit my needs perfectly and far exceeded my expectations

Pretty good, but still not like a real pillow....
I'm deducting 1 star because I didn't get the most restful night of sleep, as promised. I'm truly envious of these people who can sleep on a bag of air on the ground as if it's a 10 pound fill goose down pillow in a luxury hotel bed. Sadly that was not me. For what this product is, however -- it's about the best thing you will find for ultralight backpacking where weight is your primary concern. I did find that it was much more comfortable when you don't inflate it completely, or actually put very little air into it at all -- to simulate a goose down pillow that has been flattened down a bit. I also combined this with a memory foam pillow case to give it a little extra padding, and I think that helped a lot. All in all, I'd recommend you buy it because there is currently nothing better on the market - but be advised that to create the most comfortable backpacking bed in the world, you're going to probably have to add some additional items.

Difficile à ouvrir, mais grandeur parfaite
Très pratique, ne prend pas beaucoup de place. Facile à gonfler et ranger. Par contre, lorsqu'on ferme le bouchon, il est difficile à rouvrir.
