Is this WiFi 7 wireless router any good?
PROS: - Really fast WiFi 7 - Pretty easy setup even without following the videos. - Relatively inexpensive compared to other WiFi 7 routers that are double the price - Monolithic stature design - Has 2 additional LAN ports at the back CONS: - Plasticky and cheap to touch (but who really touches a router often anyways?) - By real-world use, when I situated this inside our bedroom connected to a LAN outlet, the WiFi 7 speed begins to drop significantly at about 40-50 feet away VERDICT My 1Gb ATT connection is almost always at full duplex (~940Mb up and down), thanks to this relatively inexpensive WiFi 7 router. Now i have this reliable wireless connection at the opposite end of our house extending to the backyard.

Great Coverage and Fast
First time I've owned a mesh system and this WiFi system works well. Good range coverage and fast. I love the strong connection throughout the house.

You get what you pay for…
UPDATE: After my initial review, I was contacted by the company explaining that the issue I faced is a known problem with their earlier models and has been resolved with newer ones. They also offered a full refund for the faulty product I received. Therefore, I have given them back two additional stars for the excellent customer service I received. They truly care and know how to back their products. You get what you pay for. I bought the three pack less than a year ago (Oct ‘25) and everything started out working great. Set up was easy and I didn’t experience any connection issues. I could set it and forget it… …Until I started having issues over the last month. One of the routers kept losing the connection to where I’d have to restart it. This went on sporadically for about three weeks. Then just recently, it wouldn’t reconnect at all. I noticed that the firmware was out of date on the two working routers (even though it was set to auto-upgrade) and the non-working one wasn’t showing any firmware information. When I tried a manual update, I didn’t see an option for this on the non-working one, but did on the working ones (so I updated those). I tried putting the non-working router in tftp mode to try to update it that way, but still no luck. I suspect that when the system tried to auto-upgrade, somehow it got interrupted leaving one of the routers corrupted to the point beyond recovery. My advice: If you do go this cheap route, don’t set it to auto-upgrade and just manage that manually. Otherwise, if you can afford to spend a little extra, go with a trusted name brand like Netgear. That’s what I’ll be switching to. This technology is complex enough — I don’t need the extra headache of trying to get performance out of cheap equipment.

Works Flawlessly!!! Love it!
Excellent product! Very easy to set up. So far it works flawlessly. My home WiFi has never been so fast. I’m finally able to take advantage of the faster WiFi speed I’m paying for.

Avoid at all costs
for three weeks the units ran ok. Then my Wi-Fi suddenly just stopped working. I rebooted all nodes and all was fine two weeks later the same thing ..... another reboot! One week later same problem! this went on for another few weeks rebooting every five or six days. Also noticed the nodes would have to be unplugged and replugged for them to communicate. So i was glad to see an update available. After the update the units became so unreliable that i would reboot at least once a day. This product is really a waste of time! I would steer clear and purchase another brand

Great Value
Have a 3 level 3,500 sq ft house that's L shaped with garage taking up empty space and decided it was time to upgrade from single router approach. After trying multiple different router placements and trying a repeater always had areas where it was difficult getting a strong signal to in house so decided to try a mesh system. This was the first unit I tried and decided if it didn't work then I'm out a little less than a hundred dollars and I'd just go back to old router until trying something else. When I received it and unboxed it, I was honestly underwhelmed. How can something so small and so light do what I expected it to do. The 3 units are quite small, very light, and look presentable but don't feel like they're anything substantial. I say this because I'm used to wifi routers being somewhat large. In any case, I downloaded the app, hooked up the unit to modem and power, powered it, fired up the app and within 5 minutes, this router was up and running. Standing next to primary unit, I was pulling down 250Mpbs on my phone, which is about what I pull down when wired directly to modem on my laptop. First impressions kind of blew me away. With old router (which was also rated an AC1200) I would get maybe 100Mpbs standing next to it on 5 Ghtz. Plugging in the 2 "satellite" wall plug units required no configuration. Just plug it in, make sure you get a green light and you're good. In app, I could see all units were associated with each other and "talking". I now have a strong signal in every corner of the house. The app is simple, but does what it needs to. I can easily see at quick glance who's connected, what node they're connected to, how much data they're pulling, etc. Other reviews have stated that they're a bit lacking in options/functionality. That is true. There's no DMZ config, no IP reservations, etc, but for this price point and its purpose I think it does an excellent job at what it's trying to be. This was up 100% and running within 5-10 minutes of unboxing. That's pretty incredible, I think, coming from setting up wireless networks in the past. The only gripe I have is that sometimes you'll see in app that devices are connected to a certain node while another node would seemingly make more sense (this is after turning on fast roaming as well) or a device will be using 2.4Ghtz when there's no reason it shouldn't be using 5Ghtz, but these are minor gripes in my opinion for what you get at this price point. Solid 4.5/5 rounded to 5/5 for me.

Working well. Great value for money. Speed is great and mesh is working better than my redme AX6. It has 3 eth ports in each.

You get what you paid
Let be clear, this is not the most expensive Mesh Wifi, but its not the cheapest. The reason for clarifiyng this is that you should be clear on what you should "demand" on this device, but also what you should not expect from the price range. Where? I'm using it in a 100 SQ Mts apartment How? Home activities like streaming, browsing and regular downloads. Since covid19 its also been used as "home office" for mi wife and me with teleconference calls (teams, zoom, etc) and also for school virtual assistance Devices? about 15 between phones, tablets, pcs, and smart devices ISP Speed? 50Megs Pros - Really easy to setup - Good and stable coverage - Easy basic functionalities for parents to restrict internet access in kid devices - Basic Qos Funtionality Cons - App / device is not a router so functionalities are REALLY basic - You cant force connect to particular network (2,4 or 5Ghz) - The mesh randomly changes devices to 2.4 even thought they a near to transmitters - Can't assign static ips to each device - QoS wont let you configure speed limits for each device Conclusion: as i mentioned you get what you paid. If you're not a technical person and just want to plug, install, enjoy? this is the mesh for you. If you're tech savy person you might be disappointed by the lack of option and functionalities offered. Overall its a good mesh wifi -------------UPDATE as of iOS 14 the encryption this mesh offers is considered weak and unsafe(WPA/WPA2 (TKIP)). Ive contacted TENDA about this and there's no update to support an updated and more secure protocol so... So steer clear of this mesh

Strong, Reliable Whole-Home Coverage with Next-Gen Wi-Fi 7
picked up this Tenda Wi-Fi 7 mesh system after dealing with weak and inconsistent signal while working from home—especially in my basement setup. Since I rely heavily on a stable connection for my work, the frequent drops and slow speeds were becoming a real issue. After installing this mesh system, the improvement was immediate. I placed nodes on different floors, and now I have strong, consistent coverage throughout the entire house. No more dead zones or signal drops, even in areas that previously struggled. What really stands out is the performance. With Wi-Fi 7 support, it feels very future-proof compared to most systems still running on Wi-Fi 6. It handles multiple devices effortlessly, and speeds have been fast and stable across the board. I ran several speed tests and downloaded large files to push the network, and it handled everything without any slowdowns or interruptions. Setup was straightforward, and the system has been reliable ever since. My connection remains strong throughout the day, which has made a noticeable difference in both productivity and overall internet experience. If you’re dealing with weak signals, dead zones, or inconsistent speeds—especially in a multi-level home—this mesh system is a great investment. It delivers excellent coverage, speed, and reliability, and feels ready for next-generation internet demands.

Gute Weiterentwicklung
