Fun analog synth. What else is there to say? Cool drones, leads or rhythms. With cv in and out, easy to incorporate with other analog gear, or really have fun and loop back into itself.

Wire to stylus unusable for lefty with large hand. Too bad. Wanted to enjoy it. Returned.

This is an amazing portable synthesizer, with a balance of affordable price and features. The size is amazingly compact considering all the features you get, it looks really retro-cool (and can be customized further if desired, as I did with my custom knobs), and it's durable enough to last through daily use. It's also just plain fun playing tunes with it. If you're into synthwave music, this is a must-buy!

Great analog instrument. In this age of over-digitization, this is good to have. One star less just because the wire is less reliable and might break soon. Otherwise a really cool instrument

I wanted the stylophone beat, but after watching a few YouTube videos I realized that I needed this one as well! Well, not need, but they are so fun to play together! My little pianist enjoys playing with it beach se she can play things she knows on piano and it’s so portable! You can also play with headphones!

I really enjoy the added functionality on this second generation of the Stylophone Gen X. I still have the original version, which was kindof what got me into synthesizers from piano in the first place, but this second version is much better in several ways, including basic functionality, but especially the ports for connecting it to other synthesizers. To me, those CV and Gate ports bring this from the territory of toy to something I can actually use with other synths. Recently I've used the gate out from a drum machine, then patched the gate out on this unit to its pitch in, and every time that drum triggers, depending on how the LFO is set, I get different sets of beeps and boops. Good fun. Anyway, I'd recommend it for a first synth if you want to dabble, or maybe a way to expand the sound of a basic synth setup. My one problem with it is that it's only batteries for power, I wish it had a power port on it, but I just try to turn it off whenever it isn't actually in active use, and the batteries seem to last a long time that way.

I’m not musically inclined but I’ve been having great fun with this little device. I’m looking forward to running my original stylophone through it

Fun piece of gear

Mi hermano lo ha probado y está encantado. Es pequeño y fácil de llevar, pero ofrece muchas posibilidades para experimentar con sonidos y crear melodías de forma muy divertida.

So glad I bought this. Middle age is passing and I needed a synth fix without buying Korg or Moog products which would have left me arm and legless. The humble Stylophone has graduated and should be a first port of call for all mid life crisis dads without breaking the bank. You can do a lot with this piece of kit and it will connect to other parts of the stylophone ecosystem delivering for fun for your 50 year old.

This was a birthday gift that was received with happiness. Exactly as wished for!
