FarnamSuper 14 Healthy Skin & Coat Supplement, 3 lbs (32304)

I used this supplement to help grow my horses tail back in after it got chewed off. It definitely helped him grow his tail back in faster, and helped make his coat shinier and healthier. My horse never was picky about having it in his buckets and i gave it twice a day. It was not necessary for his every day life but it helped out with his coat and tail.

I have an American bulldog that had developed thinning patches and bald spots. Most of this was from flea allergies. The coat and skin where very dry on top of that. This really helped fill back in his missing fur. After a month it was the thickest it had been in the past few years. There was a noticeable difference at about 2 weeks. Product really works well and the dog seems to like it mixed with his breakfast.

Some of my sheltie friends recommended this supplement to me...they say it makes coats shiny, the dogs love it, and it keeps to keep and grow coats! So...I have used it for about 3 weeks, giving to one young dog who did not have much coat, and to an older girl whose coat has become brittle and dull. There is a difference already, and I am only top dressing the food with it once a day, at the lowest dose recommended. The young dog's coat is shiny and seems to have a deeper color, very rich...the older girl's coat has become lustrous, not so brittle, and shedding has stopped. The dogs do seem to like it. It is a fine powder, like sifted flour, so would be messy if spilled. I take care spooning it on to the food. The only thing I personally don't like is the smell of it, but, I'm not the one eating it! Would recommend.

A different product was sent to us. I'll still try it for our dogs though but I'd rather they had been up front about the actual product I ordered not being produced anymore.

I was very excited to read the reviews for this product. We have a young dog with allergies. We feed him fish oil but wanted to add cost supplement as his has suffered. He eats his food with peanut butter or cheese sprinkled on top as a treat. He wouldn’t even go near his food with only 1/4 of the dosage added. We also tried mixing with peanut butter. We are going to try to bake into cookies or give away.

This is an oldy but a goody. Used this years ago, and it would put a good coat on a horse in 30 days. I've used it for my dogs and it's given them great coats, too. May not be fancy, but it's reasonably priced and it does the job. What more can you ask for?

My dog gets lots of comments on how shiny her coat is and people ask me what I feed her. She seems to eat this product fairly well and is a picky eater. My only complaint is that she has since become quite itchy, but can not say 100% that it is a result of this product.
