This is NIV. I personally prefer kjv. This is great because its visual. Its 2 discs. 2020 Jesus is shaking the earth. Waking up the sleeping bride. I can hardly watch television. Please watch youtube David Wilkerson on television. I've personally cut out so much T.V. we have become desensitized. There is also a great series the gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and you can choose bible version. I love that its word for word and it shows people of their true ethnicity at that time. The actor playing Jesus is selva raslaingam. I own all 4. Its gives you NiV options. Each Dvd shows each different perspective it is narrated. The Acts of the Apostles is not narrated . Keep in mind if you check out Matthew Mark Luke John each dvd has slight differences but same scenes. To me I appreciate it because it demonstrates the different perspectives and you cam pause and get you version bible and stidy. Jesus is coming. We have to turn off the TV and radio and limit it. Jesus is so real and I pray your blessed by this review. Pleaxe know Jesus wishes that no one should perish. Get your house and order. I hope to find more word for word dvds. Also download the Bible app and play the audio. Let us all draw closer to the king of king lord of lords. Pray for discernment and eyes to see and ears to hear. I had bought samson and deliah and I busted out the bible so fast to read it. I'm like Delilah did not help samson. Theatrics! But its better than these shows and cartoons thst are hypnosis and demons. Hollyweird has gotten worse and will.continue. We are on namoseconds. Our savior is coming soon.

They take a wonderful approach here, and are true to the middle eastern culture as one might understand it in the day, more so than other movies I've seen. While there are areas I disagree with in terms of what they show during the Word which is being presented. Mary meeting Elizabeth, for instance, and their respective prayers seem very oddly portrayed, along with other such scenes. Once past those portions, however, it all seems to find an excellent rhythm.I still struggle to understand why in seemingly every Word for Word portrayal of the Gospels, they seem to invariably not hold to the Word as it is written. I consider when Joseph and Mary bring the baby Jesus into the Temple and meet Simeon and Anna, they seem to miss capturing that event entirely, just giving background video instead. Very odd. Later when Jesus is walking and speaking to His Apostles, He is suddenly shouting to a scattered crowd around a river, removing the intimacy of the scene which is sure in the Gospel.Again, once you humbly accept they gave their best and perfect is not attainable in this age, you can relax and enjoy this most wonderful work which seeks to honor and glorify the Lord and make available to many an account of the Christ unto eternal life. I give it 5 stars, for it is the Word of God, more valuable than everything else in this age (Prov 3:13-15) and surely all involved did this work in love and an earnest heart to serve Christ. A worthy offering indeed.May Christ make it such that this work is soon offered freely to people at some point, lest the cost of $6 be that which actually prevents the people of God from being blessed by it. "Freely you have received. Freely give."Would that Amazon made available the KJV audio for this. I will be seeking them for it, as it ought to have been included in the price.

The accuracy of the film could not be better. I felt the actor portraying Jesus was not the best choice. He did not enbody the spirit or personality one would expect. Aside from that I would recommend the film.

I put this on to go to sleep to every single night. It is the Gospel of Luke, word for word, just like it says. I love going to sleep listening to the Word of God ❤️

Watch and learn the Bible easily.Compelling performances. Filmed beautifully. Perfect narration. Real biblical surroundings and settings without the horrendous scene after scene brutality & sex other filmmakers showcase to create drama. This production trusts in the Word of God to narrate Jesus and tell His story. Trust that is evidenced in every authentic moment. The subtle, sometimes sulking, often frustrated portrayal of Jesus was itself a miraculous work of art and for me personally, sorta transcendent. I learned a lot.Genuine article, amazing.Thank you.

I love the idea of reading the good book, but for years now I could never get around to it. These movies have not only changed my life, but also my understanding of the world. I have to say thank you to whoever decided to do this. It is truly Awesome!

This is well done and helpful to learn the Gospel of Luke. I watch it over and over.

I was disappointed to hear that the narrator is the only one speaking throughout the movie. I was expecting the actors to speak and in English, of course. The content is true to the Bible's Gospel of Luke but it would be better to have just a CD and listen to the narrator in your car while driving to work....The action does not come alive enough.

Love all of the Gospel DVD's and Luke is my last one.....well done and true to the bible.
