Indow Window Inserts - Sample Kit

The acrylic is REALLY thick as well as the surrounding rubber fitting. I’m really disappointed as I think the product could be better described and I would not have wasted the $30.I’ve tried to show thickness with the the size of a dollar bill in photo. Acrylic is probably 1/8in thick, maybe slightly thicker. Acoustic sample is twice as thick.

Those on the fence to purchase rather pricey window inserts from this company, sight unseen, have the opportunity to order the Sample Kit to get a look and feel of the INDOW sample product before taking the plunge and ordering. (Have to wait 3-5 weeks now since ordering, for the inserts themselves to be custom made then shipped cross country.) Fingers crossed!

I purchased inserts through their representatives (a Fit Specialist) after seeing materials first. The corner cut is a good example of what the insert will look like in the corner of the window frame. You can test the tubing in the frame to confirm the fit - the tubing needs a 5/8'' ledge to press into, and the reveal of the entire frame is somewhere between 1.25'' and 1.5'', so it doesn't take away from the look of the windows.

Dangerous, easily scratched, difficult to clean, expensive!!! The worst customer service that I have ever encountered. Lead time is 25 weeks or more.

I purchased several full sized acoustic windows and they had zero effect reducing road noise. Not even a little bit! They are the correct size and the seal is tight with no gaps. These windows are as effective as a piece of paper. On top of that the company doesn’t offer refunds or any way to appease customers if they are unhappy. What am I supposed to do with a product that didn’t work after they promised it would reduce sound by 50%?! You need to listen to your unhappy customers and start offering refunds or something rather than terrible customer service and an even worse product.

The product does not work at all. Absolutely zero noise reduction. Do not waste your money like we did. The videos they send claiming it works are smoke and mirrors.

This is the perfect kit to be able to tell if Indow inserts will be compatible with your windows or not. Materials look durable and elegant. The colors also blend well with my windows and I could see how they would look great in most.

Do not work, is more expensive than new windows, is easily damaged, no customer support.
