An absolute dream. I use it in a 10x10 office area where it gets it cool decently fast . The unit is extremely easy to set up and use, same with the app for it. When im on my way home I can turn the unit on and by the time I get home (about 20 to 30 minutes) im in a nice cool room to relax and hangout in. The power draw was the major priority when purchasing this unit it barely pulls anything and still works phenomenally. Id highly recommend this to someone who needs a unit for a small room who doesn't want almost any noise but wants to stay cool.

Easy setup. Despite it being pretty heavy, I was still able to install it alone. It fits snugly in my window and has a nice seal. I was able to fit it in my 21" W window, too, which I was pleased about. This is one of the only in-window air conditioners that can fit such a small window. The cooling is fast and strong. Completely cooled down my 120 sq. ft. home office within 10-15 min. It will make working in the summertime far more pleasant.

Honestly? I'm pretty impressed with even the "lite" 5000 btu unit. It's a touch noisy on low, but it absolutely does the thing and cools well. The sounds it makes are consistent and easy to sleep to (even on eco which stops and starts the unit 100%) Overall, this is a solid unit. The only minor downside is it was a bit weird fitting into my window. I had to position the top back further than I normally do on the outer-most window "lip" to get a proper tilt. The manual mentioned screwing a board to the window for storm windows which seemed... extra.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for my small space, and it looks modern too. I’ve been using the Windmill 5K BTU in my studio apartment for about a week now and it’s honestly been such a great addition. I was worried it might not be powerful enough since it’s a smaller unit, but it cools my room super quickly. The setup was really easy, everything you need comes in the box, and I had it up and running by myself in under an hour. I also love how it looks. Most window ACs are bulky and kind of ugly, but this one actually blends in with my space and doesn’t stick out like an eyesore. One of my favorite features is the app. I like being able to adjust the temperature while I’m out, so I can come home to a nice, cool room. The lights on the unit also auto-dim at night, which is a nice touch when I’m trying to sleep. If you’re looking for a small, quiet, and modern-looking AC that actually works really well, I’d totally recommend this one.

It's not quiet. It's actually very loud. The picture shows no buttons on the front. That's what sold me to buy this product. Because I have 2yr old twin boys that destroy just about everything they touch. Including last year's unit. Guess what there buttons. All kinds of buttons!!!

Easy to install, quieter than my last one this size and by far better looking! Connected easily to the app and cools quickly. I have some of the whispertech larger sizes in my bigger rooms and love those too. Love their customer support and company overall - highly recommend

Easy install, light weight. The app is easy to use and set up. Cools a bedroom quickly. Removing 2 stars for the sound. I don’t mind a loud air conditioner. The sound it makes is inconsistent and scratchy. It sounds like metal is rubbing on metal. It is a an irritating sound. The filter is hard to put back in because there are wires that get in the way. Works well enough to not go through the hassle to return but would not buy again.

I’m only giving it three stars because it claims to be quiet and it’s not. I can’t have it on when I’m on conference calls. It is easy to install, lightweight, and cools the room quickly, but it is still too noisy for my office.
