Glad I didn't return it!
When I realized this product was to be used on dry hair, I almost returned it. I had just gotten a Brazilian blowout and my hair was poker straight. In fact, it was so straight, I bought a Wavetalk Thermal Brush to give it some body. Enter the Redken Thermal Spray. It works so well with this brush and smells great. I can now get some curl or body back into my hair without singe or burning and I'm in the frizz-free zone.

Best spray I’ve tried
I have super fine hair and this works great when using any heat. It can be a little crunchy but brushes right out. Has a subtle smell but I like it

Best heat protectant I’ve ever used
My hair usually gets oily in 1 day when I style it it lasted 3 days and the hold was amazing!! I straighten my hair and it didn’t budge it didn’t curl back for 3 days amazing the only thing is that it’s a little stiff/sticky

For CURLING ONLY and use section at a time
READ DIRECTIONS: THIS IS FOR CURLING ONLY!! DO NOT USE THIS HEAT PROTECTANT TO GIVE YOURSELF A STRAIGHT OR BLOWOUT STYLE!!!! This has SUPER, INTENSE hold. I only use it PRIOR to curling my hair and only use it a section at a time because it is sticky and has a VERY STRONG HOLD. It works best before air-styling my hair and using the coanda curling attachment on my Shark Glam. It does a great job at protecting my hair and keeping the curl. I spray it, brush it, curl it, and then I pin the curl up. After I'm done, then I take the pins out after it has set and run my fingers through it. You won't be able to brush your hair due to the hold, but if holding a curl and longevity is what you are after, this is for you. It also SMELLS AMAZING!! I want a perfume that smells this good!

Keeps my hair protected
I’ve been using this before blow drying and curling, and it’s been great. The mist is lightweight and doesn’t leave my hair greasy or sticky, which is something I can’t stand with a lot of styling products. It adds a nice shine and keeps everything in place without making my hair feel stiff. The fragrance is pleasant but not overpowering, and the bottle size is decent since you don’t need much each time. My style lasts all day, and I’ve noticed less frizz and fewer flyaways. For anyone looking for heat protection with a strong hold that still lets your hair feel like hair, this one is worth trying.
