These torches are absolutely amazing. I bought 2 of these. As I live in the countryside and have to get up each night to let my elderly dog into the field now. I have never seen such a powerful torch before. And as somebody else mentioned in a review they are definitely as bright as a car light whenon full power. Also they can be dipped likr a cars headlight to so as not to blind anybody coming towards you. My dog who is going blind hates going out at night if I dont take a torch with me now and is definitely so reassured and finding it easier to get around when I switch one of these on. Not only does the beam shine a long distance away, but it also has the added advantage of shining a very long way width wise too, allowing the torch to really light up a very big size space. Another great thing about this torch is the very white light that shines from it. Whenever it is switched on everywhere it lights up looks exactly like complete daylight again. I bought this smaller type as I constantly use crutches for getting about at home. And wanted something that I hoped to be able to use as well as hold onto them. Again these torches are perfect for me regarding this as well. They are a bit heavy if somebody feels that is an issue. But to me I like to feel a bit of weight in my hand when I am holding a torch not only because it reassures me of its quality but because it allows me to feel that I am holding it. So many of these thin light torches are easily dropped due to having no weight in them at all and feeling far to light to carry. For me these torches are perfect, brilliant and definitely worth the money. Living in the countryside for 30 years in a very dark area has meant me using alot of torches during the years. Each of which I have been pleased with. But these torches are more than good they really do excell themselves in quality. And for this price they are a bargain. I was astounded when mine arrived and I switched one on after charging the batteries. They really are the most powerful torches that I have ever seen and used. And nothing compares with their quality nor their performance. I will definitely buy these again if I need to purchase anymore. And anybody who wants complete satisfaction from buying a torch will definitely and 100% receive it by purchasing one of these. Thankyou Semlos for such brilliant torches as these. They truly are remarkable and incredible.

Very well made torch, very bright, 9 LEDs arranged in a circle with one in the centre, each has its own little reflector, the composite beam focuses very well and has a wide spread without dissipating or fading at the edges. Torch came very well packaged in a nice cardboard carton with bubble wrap inside for individual contents. The package included torch, four Semlos 18650 Li-ion batteries 2200 mAh which were fully charged and ready to use and a 4-battery mains charger with UK plug which appears to be robustly made, although not yet tested it. Torch has 2 light modes plus a flashing mode. It is very chunky but relatively short, definitely not a pocket torch, may not win a beauty contest, but it is the functionality that really counts, and on that it gets full marks. The body of the torch, reflector and front glass appear to be of very good quality. Power switch however is tiny and wobbles a bit, I am hoping it is not going to fall off over time, will keep an eye on it. But it functions very well, and there is a tiny green LED in the switch to indicate battery power level. Overall very happy with this purchase and it is definitely good value for money.

Very powerful torch with a robust body. The ONLY negative is the crass design decision to have an LED in the power switch. Why would anyone want or need this? As a result whenever you leave the torch you have to twist the body slightly to disconnect the batteries, as otherwise the power switch LED slowly drains them. I wouldn't let it put you off buying one of these, but I hope they quickly move to a version two product which doesn't have the LED in the power switch. Follow-up on my review above. I have increased the star rating to four stars because the product deserves it in every way except the green light in the power switch. I find this annoying for a number of reasons, and one in particular is that anyone who picks it up that does not know about the need to twist it before switching on will simply think it doesn't work. But apart from that this torch has astounding power - easily 100m range at high brightness (animals easily visible at that range at night) and will also illuminate items up to 150m away at lower brightness. It is just like a powerful car headlight. One thing that is not mentioned properly is that the LED in the switch also indicates when the batteries are getting low on charge by illuminating red, which is an extremely useful feature as most torches do not let you know when the batteries are running down - with Li-ion batteries they normally just switch off when too low. If only this was the sole LED in the switch I would be a very happy person! Finally the supplied charger is decent quality and fairly quick in charging the four batteries supplied, which also seem of good quality. Altogether a pretty decent product and well worth purchasing.

Have used this flashlight a few nights whilst working at my job, it beats out professional grade led flashlights that are much larger in terms of how bright it is. The battery life is quite decent - have had about 4-5 hours use on its highest setting (which is good), it is possible to open it up and remove the batteries and I may look into getting some top-rated cells to improve the life and duration during use. The LEDs used are high quality as there is no blue tinge that you get with lower quality ones, they are the real deal. The only negatives are that when the battery compartment is opened the PCB was loose but it's not a deal breaker, and it can get very warm with extended use as you would probably expect from such a powerful device. All in all would reccomend, extremely bright and throws more than 200M distance.

Ne fonctionne pas!

Purtroppo l'ho ricevuta con il caricatore che ha la spina per il mercato inglese (quella enorme a 3 spinotti x ferro da stiro...) anzichè la spina 220 per l'Italia. Chiederò che mi mandino la spina x l'Italia. Mai vista una illuminazione cosi intensa fascio ampio e anche profondo a quel prezzo!!! Ben realizzata in alluminio, usa 4 pile 18650. Pesa un pò. Mi piace l'interruttore laterale dove cade il pollice anziché sul posteriore che risulta molto scomodo se la si impugna normalmente mentre non va bene per i poliziotti americani che la impugnano col pollice dietro. Consuma poco. 3 posizioni : spenta-accesa piena potenza-accesa potenza ridotta. 4 pile 18650 incluse con caricabatterie mono (io ne uso uno digitale con 4 slot per 18650). Da comprare ad occhi chiusi!

Justo lo que necesitaba, tres grados de luminosidad. Falta ver lo que duran las baterías.

Es comoda y esto si q ilumina...

A parte il fatto che i lumen dichiarati sono ovviamente esagerati (40W LED = 4000 lumen) il prodotto vale ogni centesimo del suo prezzo.
