Univen Pump Tube Spring fits Farberware Yosemite Stove Top Percolators

Thank goodness these springs are available! I have a Farberware Yosemite percolator for my coffee when I'm camping. Since I use biodegradable Campsuds for dish soap, I often just toss my dishwater into the bushes. Twice now my little percolator spring has still been in the dishpan when the water was tossed.. Oops. Just bought two replacement springs to have on hand for the next time...

In the New Hampshire woods, we loose power A LOT! Not only the winter winds and blanketing snows. The rain has been incredible this year (2023) after a few years of concern about drought. I think we are all learning to live with almost constant natural disaster! BUT no coffee??? Unimaginable. I mostly use my stove top percolator during power outage. Thankfully I have a propane stove and can grind coffee beans with a crank thing. Imagine my surprise when I was stumbling around fetching the percolator from the closet and finding the spring was gone! (all this before morning coffee) OK…. was very happy to find this part on Amazon, it arrived quickly. Beautiful spring, but more importantly as I was sliding the spring onto that hollow tube, the spring actually snapped into place! I turn it upside down to give it a rinse before using, and spring is locked on! Many many years with this excellent Farberware percolator… NEVER did the spring lock in place. Very very impressed!

I lost the spring to my percolator so I ordered this and it seems very snug but it fit so I’m hoping it works well because there is no other size… I wish Coleman would sell extra springs.

This little spring is an important piece in the coffee pot functioning right. It arrived in a timely manner and it works as it is supposed to. I just warn you be careful it doesn't get stuck to your basket when you go to dump your coffee grounds because it can end up in the trash like mine did and you'll have to replace it. It is a necessary item and thankful that I got it cuz I sure love my morning coffee and this does its job.

This spring is easily lost from the percolator, I have no idea where mine went--maybe the dishwasher and someone else didn't know what it was for? Either way, nice to have this available and a very fair price.
