Yes they are a little pricey, BUT… if you have trouble with your feet like I do……these socks may be the answer. I have very sensitive feet. Almost anything that touches them either hurts or feels uncomfortable. These socks are lightly elastic so support venous return and help prevent swelling. They are made of wool and so wick away sweat. Even though they are made of wool they do not make you feet feel hot until the environmental temperature rises above one hundred degrees. In icy conditions they keep your feet warm down to about 25 degrees F, then you may need a heavier sock. I’m old that’s how these socks work for me.

I’ve switched to ALL Smartwool socks. I prefer the light cushion ones. They add about a 1/4 to 1/2 size to your shoe size. Take them with you when you buy new shoes to be sure. They also make zero cushion, but I’ve never tried them. I wear light cushion for everyday and full cushion with my hiking boots. They’re $$$, but high quality. They’re built to last. They dry quickly and moisture wick pretty well.

Perfect weight and fit. with just enough bottom cushion for me.

I’ve tried other brands but Smartwool are truly the best. They are worth the cost and hold up well. They are so comfy and warm.

Like the weight of these socks. Wore them hiking 6 +miles and my feet felt great. It’s was 99°s & humidity terrible. But my feet were feeling awesome!
