Capture 3000004612 Carpet & Rug Dry Cleaner

This is a great product for removing stains on carpet. The best for boucle fabric. My little dog came in from a rainy mess and jumped on my new white fabric ottoman. I panicked and rubbed the black dirt in even more. A friend was here and told me about this product that she uses. Sure enough, the stains disappeared after using only once. What a relief!

This is interesting stuff but I really like it. You sort of sprinkle it on but then you have to spread it around and I use my fingers to just spread it everywhere on the rug. I then use the brush that they give you to just brush it into the little crevices of the rug. That takes a little elbow grease to do that but it was working good. Then I let it sit for quite a while till I thought it was dry because it is slightly damp. And then I vacuum it and oh my gosh it smells great. For those rugs that can't go into a washing machine or not even into a laundromat this worked great. I think I would want to put it on some cement or something that you don't care about what's underneath it. Like I don't think I would put the rug on the wooden floor to do this process I would make sure something like cement is underneath.

After multiple purchases with positive results, for some reason I added the pre-spray. This may or may not have contributed to the disappointing results, but what can I say? This time the results on this expensive, dense pile carpet were less than stellar. Maybe the spray made it stick. The stuff added a full residue look. Maybe the spray did nothing. Maybe my fault for not using it from the start. Whatever, at first Capture was amazing. The carpet was clean, revived, and inmates. After 3 or 4 uses, I think the powder has accumulated in the deep pile and now attracts even more dirt and just looks sad. Pets and anyone who stretches out on the carpet end up develop itchy spots Its’s all just a guess but ultimately it ends with cme buying more. Be patient. It’s only a rug.

I just rescued a new pittie puppy (insert awww here) but as any dog owner knows, that comes with a lot of accidents in the house. My pup had diarrhea for 3 days straight and pooped on the carpet a couple times before I could catch her. I tried everything I usually do, but the vinegar+dish soap solutions and the Bissell Green Machine just did not cut it for the runny diarrhea. The stain sat for 4+ weeks before my mom told me about Capture, and once I ordered it arrived within a week. The stain is now GONE! Note that I did have to apply the solution 2 times before the stain was not visible anymore since it was such an old stain, but my mom says 1 application usually does the job if you get to it fresh.My only complaint is that it was hard to find the full bundle in a single item (the powder, scrub brush, and pre-mist solution) and you'll definitely want all three items. Other than that, this is a must have for any dog owner.
