LET ME ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS
Couple of things to note: -button commands can be a little funky--read the owner's manual -comes with cheap, virtually useless earphones -comes with charger -sound quality is fine on decent output hardware--little bass heavier than what i'm used to for default -does not work with iTunes and does not access the internet -file transfer easily done via computer click and drag, copy/cut and paste, or whatever. no need to install a third party software. -song names show up as file name instead of song title if they're different under properties if you're picky about that -does expand with micro sd as stated, though you may need to use a key or something to make sure the sd card goes in all the way and locks in place. kinda hurt my finger a bit trying before i resorted to the key. --on that note, files saved to the micro sd may show up on another external drive on your computer, and the files on it are not lumped together with the files on the device's main storage, but can be accessed through another menu selection. something to keep in mind if you want all your music in one place rather than split up!! -decent battery life i have not tried using it for photo or video storage, and i wouldn't recommend it because the screen quality looks like an old flip phone i have not yet tried the radio either since i rarely use it i have not yet tried the voice recording so i can't say much for its quality either overall, beyond my expectations for the price. my 16 gig ipod ran out of space for my music library since i follow a lot of artists on bandcamp and soundcloud and stuff so my library is always expanding--so i'm glad a 128gb micro sd goes in just fine. arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

Simple, Lightweight, and Holds Tons of Music
This little MP3 player is lightweight, simple, and holds a ton of music. The Bluetooth connects quickly, and the battery life is impressive. The screen is small but clear, and the menus are easy to navigate once you get used to them. ✔️ Pros 64GB built‑in storage Long battery life Bluetooth 5.3 Lightweight and portable Supports extra TF card ✘ Cons Buttons feel a little old‑school Screen is tiny 💭 Overall Thoughts: A great little music player if you want something simple, portable, and distraction‑free. Perfect for workouts, walking, or anyone who doesn’t want to carry their phone.

Manual Not For Product Delivered
Apparently, they created a new version of the product. I know this, because that's what the manual is for. But it talks about features that the delivered device doesn't have. The user interface is truly atrocious. The pathetic thing about it is, I wouldn't care at all if they simply included the correct manual. I don't mind learning a difficult interface. But when the interface is not discoverable, and various features require pressing multiple buttons simultaneously, then you have to be able to look it up and find out which buttons to press. There is no other way. If instead of the WRONG manual they had included a web address of a PDF with the correct manual, the problem would be significantly reduced. But this is just intentionally dishonest; they printed the wrong number of manuals, or built the wrong number of devices, and just mix-and-matched. But they don't have the same software. They don't have the same menus. If you change the software, you should update the product model number and this would never happen. A simple and important feature like the screensaver settings are listed in the manual, but not in the device menu. Does this mean you can't change the settings? Who knows. The interface also lags really bad. Press pause; now press play. There is such a long delay between pressing the button and the music starting that the natural instinct is to press it again; but if you do that, it plays about 1/5th of a second of music and then pauses again. Immediately. If the music is paused and press play/pause twice, rapidly, it instantly plays this short blip of music before returning to being paused. But if you just press it once, it sits there thinking about it before even starting. Very klunky interface. The sound quality is pretty bad, too. Setting the EQ to "rock" gives a flatter response than "off," they simply didn't bother tuning the defaults to give a flat response. So none of the EQ settings do what they were intended to do! All they had to do was tune the no-EQ settings, and the EQ formulas would all be good. But without that, they're not. Overall, the experience is worse than one of those old USB stick players with no screen and 3 buttons. The one and only advantage of this device is that it is rechargeable.

RUIZU 64 GB Bluetooth MP3 Player – The Perfect Phone‑Free Music Companion
I bought the RUIZU MP3 player for my son’s after‑school workouts and it turned out to be the ideal solution for anyone who wants to enjoy music without the temptation of a smartphone nearby. The 64 GB of onboard storage holds thousands of songs, so there’s never a need to constantly sync or worry about space. Bluetooth 5.3 connects instantly to wireless headphones and stays stable even during vigorous runs, while the built‑in FM tuner provides a quick way to catch the news or a favorite station without turning on a phone. The interface is deliberately simple—large icons, a clear backlit display, and a single‑press play/pause button make it easy for kids and for anyone who doesn’t want to fumble through menus. Battery life is impressive, delivering up to 20 hours of continuous playback, which means a full week of workouts or a weekend road trip without hunting for a charger. One feature that truly sets this player apart for me is the “night‑mode” alarm. You can load soothing tracks or a gentle FM broadcast and set the device to wake you up, all while keeping your phone out of the bedroom. It’s a great way to avoid falling asleep next to a buzzing smartphone and still have quality audio at hand. The sturdy clip on the back lets the player attach securely to a belt or backpack, and the splash‑resistant case survives accidental drops and light rain—perfect for sports practice or outdoor adventures. Overall, the RUIZU 64 GB MP3 player delivers high‑capacity storage, reliable Bluetooth performance, and a distraction‑free listening experience in a compact, kid‑friendly package. Highly recommend for anyone who wants music, radio, and an alarm without the constant pull of a cell phone.

Not so good for my purposes; overall good value for hardware but bad value for software
I've had this player now for about a year, so I know what it can and cannot do pretty well. I also work in technology, so I'm fairly well versed in standard conventions for firmware on a variety of devices. I keep it connected to power all the time, so I can't speak to the battery life, but I have a specific use case for this player and it fails miserably. I hoped to connect it to my stereo via 1/8" aux plug to RCA jack converter, then insert different 4 to 8 gb cards with different genres of music on them and switch them as my preferences change. This way I'm not leaving an expensive player or a smartphone out for my kids to break. There seem to be multiple versions of the 02 player model out there as some reviewers complain that the songs don't play in order so perhaps the software varies when the player was made. In any case, I can vouch for the fact that the software is quite terrible. The hardware feels pretty solid for a $25 player and it would be a good choice for someone taking a player to the gym or running and doesn't want to risk dropping or losing their smartphone. Provided you use it often, you can generally get the hang of the controls and strange navigation, but it's difficult to just pick it up if you've been using systems with normal button (forward and back) navigation and then pick this up to change the volume, which involves multiple button presses in the same repeated direction and only if there is music playing. Just getting back to the main menu while keeping the music playing as I write this review is near impossible. I have never tried to play a video, but with a 400x240 monochrome screen, I can't imagine I'd have any video that could be seen well, if at all. The audio quality is above average for clarity even using mp3s that were ripped at a variable bit rate (128 kbps to 384 kbps). It's loud enough for most uses, but might not be loud enough if you're trying to hear it over loud industrial sounds like in a factory, at an auto race, etc. It would be great at the price for those high risk environments, though, considering the fairly low $25 price tag. My biggest issue is that it doesn't stay on the shuffle mode feature. I can set it but after a few hours, something resets and, despite it still playing the same music, it somehow forgets it was shuffling. That means that if I have a song with multiple versions or live versions, it plays the same song over and over. For example, I've got a Jimmy Buffett card in there right now and I've heard five straight renditions of "A Pirate Looks at 40." Imagine that with the Christmas music card I had in last month and got to hear twelve different artists cover "Jingle Bells" in an hour. Maddening. The firmware is also set up to move the cursor controls up at times to progress and other times moving up just moves the cursor to the right. There is no logical time when you can know whether you should move the selection button up or to the right, so you have to guess, which also means you have to guess whether down or left will undo the selection you just made. One look at the tiny thin manual and you'll figure out just how functional you can expect this item to be as it's written in the very finest Engrish translation. If you can "set it and forget it" this item will have some use, but the resetting of the shuffle function makes me think that there could be other problems in the firmware that will remain unfixed as well. At least the unit has a microUSB port for power and a 1/8" aux jack along with a good 'ol power toggle. Yes, sometimes you might struggle to tell if the unit is powered on or off due to the power management feature. I would not recommend this unit for anything other than playing mp3s, whether music, audio books, or podcasts and the latter I would only recommend if you're changing out a microSD card. Transfer time on the unit (despite an alleged microUSB 2.0 port) through both Windows and Ubuntu Linux is painfully slow.

Very nice follow on product to an earlier model
Back in 2016 I purchased an earlier model of this MP3 player. That product didn't have as many features but was very reliable, as I used it extensively for about 7 years until the battery finally gave out. I ordered a later generation model in 2022 as a backup, and it also was a decent product though not quite as reliable as the initial one. I purchased this latest one because I inadvertently dropped the second one into a glass of water on my nightstand one night and that ruined it. With that background in mind, I really like this MP3 player, and am very impressed with the extent of functionality it offers. It connects easily to my PC via a USB-A cable, and transferring files is very simple. The only complaint I have, is that the manufacturer made some significant changes to the software interface compared to the previous two generations of this product. While over time I'm sure I'll adjust to the changes, initially it's kind of frustrating since I'm pressing buttons by habit and finding they don't do what they used to. Naturally this doesn't impact any buyer who never owned an earlier model, but as a long-time user I felt inspired to share this information just in case anyone else is buying this product again. With that said, I'm very happy to have purchased this latest generation model and am hoping it's as reliable as the original one was.

Durable and value for money 💰
Vary good product. Value for money. I bought this a good music player with minimum screen time. It proved to be a quality product. Simple to use and also easy to sun add/remove music using regular windows Laptop. We accidentally washed it in machine as well 😃 and after drying for a day it works as it was. I definitely recommend this …. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Never thought MP3 can be this Sexy!
Sexiest MP3 music experience ever in my entire life.. Orgasms are indescribable in words with Realme wireless neckband 5 ANC.. Lack of ambience & distortion at higher volume.. are the main drawbacks of MP3.. I don't understand how Chinese managed to remove these drawbacks.. successfully.. with this sweetest device..

Plays well and is very light and thin - does the job for the price
Another good buy for me in 2025. This player is very very light and thin, it has the FM radio and I can listen to audio books or music too. Bought it in gold. Use it with the little headphones that come with it and with ipods, work fine. Rather easy to put my music or audiobook in using my laptop and there is a little book for instructions. The only bother is to remember how to navigate using the arrows in the front, like many users mention in the reviews. But well after a while you get it and for the price I am very happy with my purchase.
