I actually love this kit and plan to by more in the future. I had to get a bigger needle for the string but that is personal preference! Everything you need, and is a great hobby that will last a good amount of time.

Beautiful colors
I am making this one now, about 2/3rds through and it is going to be beautiful. Colors are pretty true to the picture. The only gripe I have: I'm already running out of certain colors of thread and that's irritating. Luckily, I have a pretty good stash of odds and ends embroidery thread that will blend in okay.
