Best bang for the buck fish oil!
The clean source, trusted company, and dosage of Omega-3s is what makes this item top notch in fish oil lines. If you don't know what a high-quality fish oil supplement can do for you, do a little bit of research on Omega 3 and you'll see what all the rave is about. Omega 3s, in a nutshell, keep inflammation down to a point. Recovery in fitness is faster and overall health (skin, mood, mental, physical) is improved. I'm not a doctor so check with your physician before supplementing. Carlson's ELITE fish oil is from the deep sea of Norway. Their fish oil is constantly being tested for any contaminants (such as mercury and others) which is a must. I believe Carlsons and another Norwegian company have that part down to a science and their reviews from others show for it. Now dosage, FDA recommends 1000mg of fish oil in your daily diet, but if you look at what people are taking as supplement the popular dosage seem to be in the 2500-4000mg per day. Certain northern hemispherical Native Americans have been known to consume up to 10,000mg of fish oil daily from fish with no ill consequences, so I believe at 1/4 to 1/2 that should be OK for the most part. You might want to increase dosage gradually over 2 weeks to allow yourself to get accustomed, otherwise your movements may be on the loose side if you go up too quickly. With these pills, you won't have to take ridiculous amounts of pills because the dosage is high per pill (difference between their super and elite fish oils). These are also lemon flavored, so in the case that you might get fish burps, it's not terrible. If you want absolute no fish burps, get enteric coated fish oils. However, people have reported no fish burps with this product. I myself, have minimal fish burps but I believe the burps is from the food I take with the pill and not the pill itself. Do yourself a favor and start supplementing, specially if you don't get a lot of fish in your diet. Omega 3, from their natural source, should be a staple. Low inflammation, increased physical efficiency by helping lower inflammation, healthier skin, better B. movements, etc.

IFOS approved, TG, good price.
I'm switching to these capsules instead of Bodyvega because these capsules are IFOS approved, meaning they meet or exceed the listed dosages of what's advertised, per capsule. Also, they're TG instead of EE which means they last longer and absorb better. Plus, it's at a great price point. A large chunk of fish oil pills on the market are not IFOS approved, meaning you're getting sometimes a significantly less amount of actual omega-3 oils than what is claimed on the bottle. Those are just a waste of money. *Update* After having taken these for some time.... these actually helped lower my triglyceride levels from over 580 average to around 380. Still ridiculously terrible, BUT I had never been that low on ANY OTHER fish oil pill. If I were to exercise like I'm supposed to, I figure I could get within normal levels. But I also did notice something that has been bugging me for a while. I have a patch of eczema on my knuckle that I never could really get to go away. After I started taking these, my eczema has almost completely disappeared. the overall size has shrunk, the intensity of the scaling has lessened dramatically, AND I have yet to have to put anymore cream on it to control the itching. I also started using a tea tree oil soap, so that might be affecting it as well, BUT I did start noticing improvement BEFORE starting the tea tree soap, so I have every reason to believe this by itself was helping the eczema. I normally take 2-3 a day, and also add in a flax seed oil pill to help finish off the last bit of required omega-3's per day, which my doctor says is about 4,000mg per day. The biggest complaint my doctor had about this though, was the EPA and DHA were too close together, he would prefer more EPA and less DHA. I still think these are much better quality than the ones he recommended, which were EE based, as I had tried them before and results were negligible, but I have noticed an improvement overall with these.

Gold standard
Honestly, this Carlson fish oil is the real deal. First off, it actually tastes... not terrible? The lemon oil they mix in somehow works like a magic trick. You would think fish oil is gonna wreck your breath and have you burping up low tide all day, but nope. None of that nastiness. The lemon totally masks it, and I barely even notice I took it. Quality wise, it feels clean. Like, really clean. No weird aftertaste, no funky smell when you open the bottle, none of that rancid stuff you get with the cheaper oils that've probably been sitting in a warehouse since 2016. This one feels fresh every time, and my stomach is not mad at me after taking it, which is saying something. Only weird part is pouring it. It comes in a bottle instead of capsules, which I knew but still manage to make a mess every now and then. One time I forgot to put the cap back on tight and had lemon fish oil all over my fridge shelf. That was not a vibe. But whatever, small price to pay for something that does not make me gag and actually helps my joints feel less creaky. If you have ever been burned by fish oil before (and who has not?), this one might change your mind.

Great Value!
Apparently people have been "helped" by a review here that was very misinformed. Titled :False Advertising. This simply isn't true so I thought I would help others understand why as well as review the product. The problem this person has is the manufacture like most including Nordic Naturals include the total weight of the pill. See example of Nordic Naturals here that lists the pills at 1000mg. Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega, 1,000 mg Fish Oil, 180 Soft Gels Here is a comparison of the two products. Carson, Nordic Naturals Grams per pill: 1.25, 1 Total Omega's : 800mg, 640mg EPA : 400mg, 325mg DHA : 300mg, 225mg Other Omega's : 100mg, 90mg Price per pill: 17 cents, 31 cents *Amazon current price for 180 caps. Omega's per $1: 4.7grams, 2.06grams So there you have it and to the person that mislead everyone into thinking this was false advertising you asked the question. "Am I missing something?" Yes...the math. This is a great value when it comes to fish oil and I tried it today. As others mentioned no fish smell and I forced myself to burp 30 mins after taking it. Nothing bad. :) Highly recommend to those that want a quality product at a great price. How can you complain about getting more for less. I can't and that's why I'm giving it 5 stars.

Still the best ratio of everything you need... with nothing that you don't
after having tried numerous fish oil, krill oil, and other Omega threes, Carlson Labs has some of the best DHA, EPA, and totall Omega's that you can buy for the price, I keep coming back to this. And with the extra bottle, it makes a nice present for somebody who is interested in checking it out. I keep mine in the freezer so there is absolutely no chance of having any fishy aftertaste or "burbs". I also find that taking it after my most fatty meal of the day, helps with the digestion of that and its absorption. I rarely take more than one a day, but occasionally will pop two. The only drawback is that they are a pretty big pill, and I'm used to taking multiple pills large and small. Given the fact that they are frozen, it's almost like a little bit of a dessert. Definitely recommend for any age, but also those looking to boost the antioxidant properties, help with digestion, as well as aiding with cardiovascular and mental agility. You don't notice a difference overnight, but what you will and win you will notice it is after your body is used to it for a month or so and then you skip a few days. I just don't feel like myself then. Moneyback guarantee, and you can't beat it.

Moody cod liver oil capsules. Do not buy harmful to health.
This product is disgusting. I received 30th march. I had to finish a previous bottle I had first. I got this because of good reviews. When I opened the bottle it smells of mold. Very dangerous for health so I couldn’t take. I tried to contact the seller but apparently this was closed so no venue. Very poor customer service Amazon.
