Before I order it again, I thought I'd leave a review. This lip balm, admittedly, isn't for everyone. It does not work like traditional lip balms that leave the waxy, oily coating on the lips. The formula actually sinks into to the lips and moisturizes from the inside out. If you're looking for a constant slick feeling on the lips, you will need to reapply more often than others. JUST TO BE CLEAR: I prefer how this balm works over others. It works really well under lip sticks because of this, if you give it enough time to soak in to the lips, and because it actually moisturizes instead of coats, I find I have less splits and dryness on my lips. But the primary reason I first purchased this is because I have a sensitivity to beeswax on my lips. I find it is near impossible to find a lip balm that does not contain beeswax and is not a lip oil. Considering how there are plenty of synthetic and natural waxes that can be used in place of beeswax, I am really shocked about that. This lip balm is not only free of beeswax (making it vegan, for those concerned, and safe for those with beeswax sensitivities like me) but it is affordable. Maybe not as cheap as Chapstick but definitely cheaper than other specialty brands. As for a note about the scent, it is very light and not unpleasant; slightly spicy with a hint of peppermint. It is kind of hard to describe but if you have a sensitive to scents, I think this should be okay for you as it is light enough that it dissipates quickly. There is still a scent, mind you, but it is faint.

I have an allergy to beeswax so it is hard to find lip balm at regular stores since most brands use it. This balm smells good, has barely any taste and feels good on my lips. It smells most like cloves, which is amazing because it reminds me of fall and a good cup of apple cider! I can't really smell the peppermint which is fine, but I can feel the slight cooling sensation on my lips which I love. So if you don't like the smell or taste of peppermint, don't be afraid to buy this because you can't really taste or smell it. Its not greasy, its not super shiny on your lips either. In my opinion, it sinks right into the skin and makes your lips feel so soft. I'd have to say, this is my preferred lip balm now even over Hurraw! Which i used for a good 8 years.

This product worked well for my chronically dry, chapped lips! It is kind of like applying shea butter to lips, is anyone has ever done that. The stick is hard at first so it takes a bit of rubbing during the application to get it to melt a bit so it can spread on the lips and afterwards it has an oily, melted feeling. Its not off putting, it makes my lips feel hydrated and protected! I was unable to find any vegan and cruelty free options that were hydrating. This was my first choice and im happy i picked this! It needs reapplication every few hours but it works WAY better for me than ChapStick brand. blistex medicated was the best balm to work for me but its not CF. I will continue to buy this product! It is very lightly scented by the oils it uses.

I have very sensitive and allergic skin and LOVE this lip balm! I used to order it straight from their website, but Amazon is more convenient and now I don’t have to worry about shipping costs… I’ve been using it for years, and on the odd occasion that my husband or adult sons have chapped lios, it’s their go-to, as well. They especially like it because it doesn’t leave a gloss or shine… I love it because I can layer it with my favourite lip gloss!
