It does work very well. I tried using it continuously without letting it rest. Apparently, you can go too fast. I noticed it was partially sealing before a full vacuum was reached. It wasn't a big deal though. You can run at a pace of about one bag per minute continuously. Any faster than that and you start having premature sealing issues. It has a unique way of getting a good seal when making a bag. After you lock it down and it goes through most of the heat cycle, it actually turns on the vacuum to increase pressure on the sealing strip. I've used it with wet, very wet and dry contents already. All sealed very well.

I love this vacuum sealer. We set it up and sealed salmon right away with absolute ease using the stuff on the rolls that came with it. We did black cod, no problem. It was actually fun. We defrosted and cooked salmon that had been vacuum pressured and it tasted great in nice portioned sizes. I am thrilled to have this. I ordered some bags from the same company and received excellent service from Mary. I can’t say enough good things about the product and follow-up care by their customer service rep. As they state, they want their customers to be happy so don’t hesitate to purchase because if there is anything that doesn’t go right for you, they will assist you. This vacuum sealer is simple to use and comes with things ready to go. You can save money buying in bulk and using this vacuum sealer to store. Watch for things to go on sale and buy what you want because you have something to help you store it. It will help with meal prep and giving things a longer shelf life.

This sealer works fast, easy, and no complications. It is sturdy. The handle locks into place and is easy to open when done. The cutter works very well. The bags store well inside of it. The sealed bags become sealed very well, single or double sealed. On gentil, it sucks the air out but not tight, so it does not squash your food. On regular, it sucks the air out super tight. The unit is made with quality materials. It is solid and sturdy and it looks great. It looks really great. So much better than other sealers I have had. BUY IT! I compared many before choosing this one and I am so glad I did. It is a great value for a great price. Six stars!

Way more powerful then our old FoodSaver brand. The setting give us all the customization we need while still being simple enough for weekly use. The roll storage inside with built in cutter is great and way more useful then I thought it would be (the bags it came with not so much). And yes, it reseals prepacked food bags (tortilla chip/ frozen food) too.

I bought this to replace my old food saver that served me well until it died while I was packaging some chicken wings. This new model can adjust for dry material, moist material pressure desired on sealing, single or double sealing or a button I used for simple vacuum and seal. It involves 4 steps to seal i.e. lifting the handle, inserting the bag, pulling the handle back down to lock, then pushing the desired button to start the sealing procedure. My old one was a basic model that you turned on the powder, then inserted the bag for automatic sealing It's nice looking, lot of features. and appears well built, does the job and hopefully will last me a long time like my last one. It allows me to freeze a weeks worth of chicken wings 2 to a package for 7 days of meals without worry of them going bad. 4 stars only because this is an initial review.
