Great lamp, came when promised. The lighting is exceptional.

I must have looked at every brand of LED torchiere Amazon sells, and finally settled on this one owing to the large number of excellent reviews. The reviewers certainly weren't wrong. I love the ability to dim or brighten; love the choice of color temperatures; love the sleek design and sturdy base; and boy, oh boy, do I love the remote control. No stumbling my way through a dark room because I had to manually turn the lamp off at night; not a small thing for me, as I tend to trip, bash into things, and stub my toes on everything in sight :-P I initially bought one lamp for my living room, and it proved so wonderful that I bought a second one for the bedroom. It's extremely easy to put together, and the light element can be faced wherever you want it to go (I like it facing straight up, which fills the room with light without glaring in my face). Tip: if the round light cover loosens or comes off the lamp in shipping, as my first one did, just line up the notches and "pins" (not really pins, but I don't know what else to call them) and give the cover a twist. It will settle into place perfectly.

Looks sharp and has great options. It can be controlled by touch, but also remote. The remotes are tied to their particular light they come with, so if you have more than one of these lights, you can't tie them all into one remote control. The remotes come with a magnet inside them on the back, so you can stick them to most any ferrous metal surface. The lumens are as advertised. Very bright! I use them as intended in that they are reflecting off the white ceilings I have to spread the light in the locations they are. Its nice that they come with 3 settings for type of light - from a warm yellow light (candlelight) to a harsh white (operating room/office) light. I have 2 of these for the living room at opposite sides and they do the job. I honestly don't use the remotes on them - I have them plugged into some Google enabled smart sockets so I can control them all through my Home app along with all my other smart lights and devices. They are very easy to assemble. My second one came with a bad thread on one of the joints so it couldn't be screwed together, but a replacement was over-nighted to me without any trouble. I highly recommend these lights!

This is the ONLY lamp you need at home! I now used it for about 2 weeks. I don't usually write a product review. But this really makes me feel a higher quality of life. 1. Easy to assemble: it took me less than 5 minutes to put it together. 2. Suitable for all situations: 3 different colors are super useful for all the purposes. I like the warmest color at night and help me relax, the middle color for reading and use the day-light color for work and study. It's so easily controlled by the remote and I don't need to change light bulb back forth anymore. The brightness is also adjustable. It's pretty bright and enough for my 11'x13' bedroom. 3. Remote control: You know what I hated the most about my old lamp? I have to get up from my bed to turn it off when I decide to sleep and craw back to my bed in the dark... Now with the remote control. My life is so much better... I also use the remote to turn on the lamp as soon as my alarm goes off in the morning to help me wake up. It also comes with a battery for the remote control! So I can just it just right off the box.
