Base support for screw not strong enough.
These Quad Lock alternative mounts are of sub-standard quality. I only had the mount less than a month and it snapped when I went to tighten it more securely on the handlebar because it had become loose. I read through numerous customer posts for Quad Lock products and never saw their product fail in this area, with this kind of issue of the screw seating surface not being thick enough to support it properly. Glad it didnt happen on the road or my phone would have been toast. Take this under advisement when considering your purchase. I guess I got what I paid for.

Good quality and definitely worth.
Never failed me, I daily drive my bike and never let me down, make sure to tighten it real good and it loosens over time and makes the phone drop down kinda rubbing onto the tank. I used it on my Yamaha fz1

Please read before buying!
Before you buy this to be used with a motorcycle, please go buy yourself the expensive name brand one. This review is basing my experience of owning and using the expensive mount on my motorcycle, and an intention of using this and reviewing it only as a bicycle mount. Compared to the expensive brand, well it's just not comparable. There really is no way to expect a $14 item to replace the known quality and reputation of the high cost mount. I knew this, and and knew when I ordered it I would only be using it on my Trek, but thought never know. Maybe it would be the exact same. It isn't, but still it is a GREAT option for a mountain bike or road bike. It works perfect with the quad case I already have, and comes with the sick-on adapters so if I wanted, I could use my other cases. That's if I wanted. I'm not sure yet of the reliability of the adapter yet, but I plan on trying them for motorcycle use soon. The mount is easy to install, can be adjusted just about any way you can imagine, holds the phone just as well as the expensive mounts, releases exactly the same, and looks identical. The one thing that is not identical is the plastics they use to make it. If you have an expensive mount already you can feel the difference throughout. The lighter and more flimsy build allows for there to be more shake in the phone than expected. It's an acceptable amount for a bicycle, which in opinion brings a rating down of my expectations to 4 stars, but there is no way a phone would survive that shake on a motorcycle.

Great option.....
Bought this as a solution as a very cheap alternative for my Quad Lock case. I'll use it on my trainer bike that's set up in my garage. Product is cheaper material and I don't think I'd use this on a regular road ride, but in this case, being stationary, I feel it's a great option and secures my case very well!

An honest opinion and extra details.
It's worth 10$ took it on an adventure ride today through blm land. I installed yesterday with tightening screws with locktight and I assured installation was decent. The whole unit will still slide up and down but over bumps, slamming throttle, and taking brunt hits to the fork it did well. Road riding under 80mph directly blowing against the phone it keeps sturdy and did not have problems with it drifting. The plastic has a little shake but I would rather enertia be lost in that than in my phone. It comes with 3 different rubber inserts for 3 different baar sizes. The sticky on the phone side I do not believe is 3m but is it plenty strong. I will be installing a windshield on my bike so I am not worried about wind hitting it. The plastic could easily be sun rotted so keep indoors. And do not overtighten on installation and do not under tighten. Again overall it's worth 10$ if you don't care about the slim chance your phone snaps off of it. Don't slam down from wheelies and jumps and expect it to hold. However I did torture test and I was surprised.

Durable
I fell doing a wheelie. And it held my phone on the bike the entire time. I’ve had no issues with it since then either. This also works with my quad lock phone case
