This DIY squishy kit was a HUGE hit at our house. My 5-year-old was completely obsessed from start to finish—and honestly, I had just as much fun helping. Everything you need is included, and the instructions were simple enough for a kid to follow with a little help. It kept him busy way longer than I expected, which is always a win. He loved getting to create his own design, and of course the best part was squishing it nonstop once it was done. The texture turned out really soft and satisfying, not stiff or weird like I half expected. It actually feels like a real squishy you’d buy in a store. Only heads up—this can get a little messy during the making process, so I’d recommend putting something down first. Totally worth it though. If you’re looking for a fun, hands-on activity that keeps kids entertained and gives them something to play with after, this is a great choice!

We purchased 2 kits that were supposed to be Christmas gifts this coming December, however we couldn't wait to see the results so they were an send of summer gift! The packages arrived in perfect condition & included all items needed as well as instructions that were very easy for them to follow. We gave them to 2 of our granddaughters ages 10 & 13 and turned them loose. In just minutes they had started mixing the products using the provided cups & stirring utensils. Everything that you need is included in these kits! They poured them into the molds, waited the allotted time until squishy firm ~ and they turned out awesomely! It was fun as adults to see them enjoy everything from start to finish however moreso feeling content in knowing that we purchased a "safe" & enjoyable trustworthy craft from Elmer's. Two kits included all different molds which they now use to keep their Squishies in & to reuse if they want for other projects! Clean up was extremely easy. We will buy these again!

I gifted these to my nine year old niece for her birthday. She absolutely loved them. We made them together and it was a bit messy, but we put down a plastic table cloth and had fun. They dry pretty quickly (within an hour or two) which is good because kids are impatient and they came out of the mold easily and looked nice. It came with absolutely everything we needed and honestly I had fun doing it as a grown adult. She has asked for more of these. Only problem is some of the shapes are weird and you can’t really tell what they are. Hoping they have cuter shapes at some point.

So, we enjoy fun projects during the summer. Specially things we can keep. At around $4.50 a piece these come out to the same price as most blind toy bags. With the added fun, of you get to make them yourself. We bought two sets of 4. I’m still waiting on the second one. And hoping it comes with 4 different molds. Since there are so many characters. I wish I knew more kids in the area so we could do an exchange of the molds. And he’s why!!! We have only done two of the packets. But! When we combined the mixture left over from each of the kids, we had enough for a 3 one! So we could make 6 out of one box! Instead of 4. I’ve seen multiple kits for these. And I’ll say Elmers is the only one that not only comes with molds but they’re reusable! And actually really well constructed. Three out of the 4 molds had really amazing details. Though the glitter in the only glitter glue squish was hard to see the details! The solid color one was better. And the one where I mixed both was actually pretty defined too. I’m not a fan of all the creatures you can make, some look to be so similar to each other. But the kids love them and keep talking about which ones they wish they’d get. My kids are right on the age range for these. And they had no trouble doing them themselves. All I did was make sure it ended in the mold cast. Put on the timer and we waited. In exactly 60 minutes took them out. Pulled some of the extra thin film off and viola. We had a squishy. I used a sharpie to do an eye. But I’m sure paint or an actual art marker would work and could define the face better. Though they’re fun, I wouldn’t buy anymore.
