Great piano for beginners. Given how much they give you out of the box, I feel like it's worth the price. The sound sounds kind of off, but since I'm using it just to learn, I don't mind it.

I bought this as a birthday present for my husband and I ended up learning how to play as well. You can really feel the semi weighted keys, the sound is nice and sharp, the pedal makes it even better. After few months it had a tech issue, I reached out to Longeye Customer Support and they sent us a new keyboard at no cost. Recommended!

Lately, the only time I’ve been able to practice piano is during the night, so I bought this keyboard to not disturb family members I have at home. I’ve been playing piano for 12 years so the pieces I’d typically play are more on the difficult side. What I noticed with the keyboard is that some of the black keys are difficult to press when you want to play 3/4 notes at the same time on one hand, and some keys sound less louder than other keys, but rather than that it works like any other keyboard. This keyboard CAN be good for beginners, but if you’re a beginner that can imagine taking piano more seriously in the future, I’d suggest to buy a more higher end keyboard at your local Music Store to test them out if you have any Music Stores nearby. I just bought this keyboard to practice at night with headphones, but it’s not the main piano I play on because I can’t imagine playing this keyboard during the daytime if you want to play more complex pieces; So if you’re in my situation and just want to buy a keyboard where you can practice without disturbing family members with a small budget, I’d go for it.

Excellent value for the money. The assembly and operating instructions are good. The tone through the headphones is good and would be better if you upgrade your headphones. The key action is acceptable. It is not the same as a more expensive electronic piano or acoustic piano, but is fine for a beginner or someone like me who learned as a kid and still likes to play occasionally. The sustain pedal is barely acceptable, but they currently offer a free upgrade when you register for the one year warranty. I'm looking forward to getting it. UPDATE: The upgraded sustain pedal was sent promptly as promised and makes a huge difference. It gives a much more realistic sound and is easier to use. Overall - I'm very happy with the purchase.

As a retired music teacher, I have played many electric keyboards. This keyboard with weighted keys and has the best touch and sound of any electric keyboard that I have played. Two recommended improvements would be a larger stand for holding music and a longer cord for plugging it in. Other than this, I highly recommend this for family and friends. Y.M.
