高性能IOのはこれのOEMらしい。なんで元の買ったほうが安い

容量を気にせずバックアップ出来るのが便利。動画とかをたくさん撮るわけではないので。パソコンは何台も有るので、無線LANでバックアップしても良いが、スピードがそれ程出ない。電源不要なので、気軽に持っていって即セーブ出来るのが良い。耐久性は不明。たが、ＷＤのポータブルをいくつか使ってきたが使用頻度も少ないので壊れた経験は今の所ない。時間はかかるが、まだ容量単価は、HDDが上の様なので使い続けるだろう。

HDDは5年以内に買い替えるので、この機種も6台目くらいです。 今まで、5年以内で壊れたことはなかったのですが、6台中1台のみ3年で SMARTチェックにエラーが出て壊れてしまう前に買い替えました。 突然壊れたと慌てる前に、定期的に SMARTチェックをして、危険な兆候が出ているのであれば即買い替えするのがおすすめです。HDD は HDD が大事なのではなく、HDD に入っているデータが大事なわけですから。

Works great with Mac (Mac OS Big Sur and Monterey)
I had read some bad reviews regarding the encryption system integrated on the hardware, but on Mac I didn't have any issue with it and could reformat the disk for Mac and didn't have to use the encryption system. The dial works great on Mac and 5To for the price I paid (about 13 000 yen) was really a great price.
