Better than I planned…no rain fly, no problem
I bought this tent for a 4 day camp out, last minute because it was inexpensive. It ended up being easy to set up, and have a ton of room inside. It didn’t have a rainfly, which was concerning, but the description said it didn’t need one. We had a freak downpour for about 30 minutes. I was sure it was going to leak with the amount of water, literally dumping, from the sky. To my surprise, not a drop of water inside! No rain fly and no problems. I don’t know how it would hold up to sustained rain, but it passed the test of a downpour for a short time. I was impressed.

Umbrauto Truck Tent...Best purchase to date!
My hubby & I love our new truck tent. Whoever designed it was genius! Plenty of space inside for 2 adults & a regular queen air mattress. We were unsure how it'd go until we assembled it & used it for the first time a month ago. Even though we didn't get it perfect during our first set up (in the dark), it kept us comfy & dry overnight during a light rain. Next time set up will be a breeze! Very easy to break down, roll up & repack in the included bag. Recently bought the umbrauto full size truck air mattress with pillows, so we're excited to try that out on our next camping trip. Overall, we're delighted with this purchase & have recommended it to our friends. If you're on the fence about it, just buy it - you'll likely love it as much as we do. Worst case, if you don't, simply return it. Easy peasy.

Game changer for camping
Easy to assemble. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars it’s that when it rains it drips on the inside.

Exceeded expectations
We were honestly surprised how nice this mattress was, i typically have low expectations and this exceeded them. It blows up quickly with the built in pump and stayed inflated all night. This will fit a 6.5 or a 8 ft bed.

Lots of reasons to get this one.
I bought this for my 6'2" son to use on his Dodge Ram. It fit perfectly on the bed. Best to set it up in bed if you're alone, one gust of wind and you're fighting a losing battle if you set it up and try to lift it in. Along with a self inflating mattress, a small folding camp table, and a chargeable fan/light that hangs from the ceiling there's still room for another person/pet OR some of your gear. Headroom of course isn't stand upable, but it's enough to get around in. It has good vents, and if you take care of it, it'll take care of you. Especially appreciated is the duffle bag it's stored in, it's got extra room so you don't have to know origami to get it back in when you're packing up camp.

Strap Failed on First Use
I purchased this tent last month and used it for the first time over the Fourth of July weekend. While assembling the tent, one of the straps broke the very first time I set it up. I love this tent however it was a bit of a disappointment that a critical item in a retention strap did not work and failed. We had to tie a knot and use bungee cords to anchor the corner of the broken strap.

Perfect for our chevy Silverado custom
Its just as described, it wasnt that hard to do it, once you know, you’ll do it way faster the next time. We took it to Alexander springs and had an awesome time sleeping in it, altough we did not need to close it because we wanted some air too. It didn’t rain so i don’t know how this would work in the rain

We were running out of oxygen AND soaked
Overall, for the price, it can serve its purpose well. ONLY if the weather allows you to sleep with the windows open through the night though. We just camped for 3 days in this in various states. Fit our 2500 Silverado perfectly. We were SO excited to sleep in this. Great room. Nice setup. Loved the little features it came with like tent pockets and a little clip for our lantern. We had high hopes. The number one thing that really limits how you can use this tent, is if you sleep with all the windows zipped, you could die. Truly. The first two nights my husband and I and our German shepherd woke up hypoxic and hyperventilating with raging headaches. The first night we assumed it was the altitude change, but the second night we were at a low altitude and the issue was even worse. Unlike most tents, this tent doesn’t need a rainfly because it is waterproof, but this plastic waterproof siding eliminates any air exchange. With 3 of us in the tent, the carbon dioxide build up halfway through the night was severe. Maybe if it was just one set of lungs, it would have been okay, so I’ll give the manufacturers that. This first night, we had the windows zipped to keep out the cold wind, SO much condensation built up on the inner tent walls everything in the tent became wet. This was with a low of just 53 degrees and low humidity of 35%. Extremely difficult to dry the inside of this tent out, and it will be very wet every morning. Our second night we had a five hour heavy rainstorm so we had the windows zipped again and woke up having to choose between breathing and letting more water into the tent. Also around 1am, water ended up dripping into our face nonstop from the top peak of the tent and all of our bedding and clothing became soaked…. So maybe not 100% waterproof in a real rainstorm… we should have had a tarp, but also that storm wasn’t supposed to pass over where we were so we decided to count on the tent’s waterproofing. I would honestly choose a different truck bed tent that isn’t waterproof and has a separate rainfly so you can get some air exchange and not suck in your own carbon dioxide all night. Don’t give yourself brain damage in this tent to save $ like we did.
