Excellent and easy to use
I bought this for my vehicle when people began complaining that calls sounded awful. I also wanted something that would allow me to pause or change a song with a button so that I wouldn't have to mess with my phone while driving. This was super-easy to install, it connects almost instantly to my phone when I turn on the car, and people claim that my voice sounds so much better in calls. Money well-spent. If I have one gripe about it, it might be that the buttons on it aren't super "clicky" so sometimes you don't realize you clicked it and it skips more than one song. That's a minor preference thing though. The sound is great and it works without any problems. I definitely would recommend it.

Mic Quality – Shockingly Good
Mic Quality – Shockingly Good – Most Bluetooth car kits struggle with call quality, but this one actually delivers. I’ve been using it for over a year with zero issues—calls are clear, crisp, and easy to hear on both ends. It cuts through background noise like a champ, making it one of the best mics in this price range. 🚗 Plug & Play Simplicity – No rocket science needed. Plug into your AUX, pair, and you’re good to go. 🔊 AAC Codec = Better Audio – Sound quality is solid, with decent bass and clarity. If you're upgrading from static-filled FM transmitters, this will feel like a whole new world. 🔋 Auto On/Off – No more pressing buttons every time you start the car. This thing wakes up with your engine like it’s had its morning coffee. 🛠️ Noise Isolator Works – No annoying buzzing or ground loop noise. Your music and calls stay clean and clear. This isn’t just another cheap Bluetooth adapter—it’s reliable, crystal clear for calls, and lasts. After a year of daily use, it still works like day one. If you’re sick of Bluetooth kits with terrible mics, this one is a no-brainer.

CD quality sound over Bluetooth.
This device uses an improved codec for Bluetooth sound. it uses the AAC Bluetooth codec which is compatible with iPhone and Android. It does not support Aptx or LDAC. It delivers CD quality sound over Bluetooth to whatever device you connect it to. I use it in my car and it pairs very quickly. I haven't used it for calls so I couldn't tell you about the call quality, but I can say that there is a noticeable improvement in sound quality for Bluetooth audio. My stereo does SBC codec Bluetooth and the difference is night and day. I was considering getting a replacement sound system because the sound was so bad coming out of my speakers, then I plug this in and I realized it wasn't the speakers or the stereo it was the Bluetooth codec. it went from muddy horrible audio to crisp clear detailed sound. The glue on the back is very solid and it stays put once you mount it so make sure you get in the right place. You want to make sure that the microphone port in the center is directly facing you and that a vent isn't blowing over the microphone because that will tank your call quality. The included wire clips have much lower quality glue, either that or a much lower contact area, so make sure you path the cable in a low stress location. Using this device has increased the battery life of my phone because it supports low energy versions of Bluetooth compared to the high power used with the older version of Bluetooth that my stereo uses. working a 10-hour shift while listening to music constantly with my car stereo was taking my music phone battery down to 20% using this for the same length shift my battery was at 45% and the sound was much higher quality.

one outstanding feature makes this item well worth the money
UPDATE: after using it for a while I am still satisfied, but I had to take one star off, because I noticed an issue. It may have been there all along or developed at some point, I am not sure. The system sounds like the right channel is much louder than the left, but when trying to adjust the balance, the left channel has low, distorted volume that cannot be adjusted to operate properly. Basically, sounds like the amplifier driving the left channel is broken. The system is still usable, but all sound is coming from the right side of the car. This causes the passenger perceiving the sound as too loud, when the driver's volume seems comfortable. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have used it for a short time so far, but I'm impressed. My previous bluetooth car receiver was Roav, but it broke, so I decided to try this one. It has everything I need: - turns off when I turn off the car - automatically reconnects to my phone when I turn the car on - has lighted buttons One feature where this item stands out from other units I tried is that the sound volume when listening to music and when making the phone calls is about the same. The other ones had voice calls at much lower volume so not only I had to dial the volume up during the phone calls, but then the music coming back on after the call would blast at me if I did not lower the volume in time. This one has it perfectly level, I had no need to adjust the volume much between the calls and the music. Overall I am very happy with this unit and I hope it will last me for a while. But even if does not, the price is a bargain, well worth it.

10 out of 10! WORTH EVERY PENNY
I drive a 2007 honda fit. Nothin fancy about it. It has a standard cd player stereo with a lighter outlet and an aux port. I've tried a bunch of different Bluetooth/radio, and Bluetooth/aux devices ranging from 5$ to 30$. They work great if all you want is music. But if you need something for hands free phone calls with clear audio for both parties, this is the gadget for you! Don't believe the "ultra clarity noise canceling microphone" with cheaper devices. It's crap! The only noise they cancel is your voice, and they amplify all other noise. It's all a lie! No one can hear you! Get this thing!!!! I have zero complaints about this device. Everyone can hear me on the phone perfectly clear, I hear them perfectly clear and the music sounds great! It's easy to install, and very easy to use. They include instructions, but honestly it's not even needed. If you know how to use your phones Bluetooth, and you have the ability to plug in a cord, you're good to go! They also include adhesive cord clips to keep the cord neatly tucked away, but the adhesive isn't the best on textured plastic dashboards. I added double sided tape to them and they stay put, no biggie. The adhesive foam circle for the button pad/mic is super sticky! Make sure you KNOW where you want it before you stick it cause it's not moving. This device is worth every penny. If clear phone calls is what youre looking for, save yourself the trouble of trying similar products with lower price points. I've been trying other products as I find them for a couple years and none of them have been even close to matching the quality of this device.

AAC codec! Exactly what im looking for. Great sound quality!
Yes! yes! This is it, AAC codec, great sound quality! My Lexus RX comes with bluetooth audio, but from my testing, it uses the old and bad SBC codec. Specifically looking for this adapter because it has AAC codec, the preferred one for iPhone. And wow! Sound quality really improved over the default car bluetooth. Controller is also a great design!

My favorite 😍😍😍 Bluetooth ever!
It's super easy to use! Pairs fast! and has conformation beep that means it's connected. Also has a built in microphone. But I don't use that feature very often. It's an alright microphone. But it's not the best feature. The MICROPHONE works. But I think it has no noise canceling. I'm a truck driver. And I just plug it in Any truck radio at work and select AUX. And drive away. Also works well with my (blue parrot one ear trucker headset). You know The $140 one that you can buy at loves truck stop. That's a good combination. That setup Is basically all I use when driving. I also install this Bluetooth in my older vehicles. Anything that has an AUX port that is. And there you go. Easy listening! No more problems. TIP FOR MOUNTING. on a magnet. Mounting on a magnet is cool for me because I can change vehicle easily. So it's temporary and handy all the time. Somtimes I use the sticky on the back, and stick it to a metal washer. And then stick the washer onto a magnet located on the dash. That's cool too, most of the time. Except the magnet 🧲 messes with all the little electronics inside the Bluetooth. And all you have to do to fix that is slid it down to the side, hanging off the magnet. And in that position it workes just fine. 100 percent would recommend this awesome product!!!

Sounds great and gets the job done
I recently purchased a 2007 BMW X5. Its a very nice luxury vehicle. But as with all Bimmers, its iDrive takes center stage on the console, and is part of the car. Unfortunately streaming bluetooth audio wasnt common yet in 2007. Buying an aftermarket head unit is not an option because of the iDrive. That leaves my only options as paying an extraordinary amount of money to retrofit a newer iDrive, or find an alternative solution. Well, this device is that alternative solution. In the center console of the X5 is a line in audio jack, and a 12 volt plug. Using a 12 volt to USB adapter, I basically shoved all of the cables in the console, and placed the puck just outside it, in a nice placement near the iDrive knob. I tried it out today. Sound quality is really good. Better than it was using a lightning to audio cable directly plugged in to the aux in. The three buttons, next/last/pause play work perfectly fine. My phone is paired to bluetooth for the phone in the bimmer. I made a phone call not knowing what to expect. It appeared my phone was using the bluetooth off this new device; but as a bonus, I had the call stats up on the idrive since its also connected. This means I can see the inbound caller, use my steering wheel buttons, etc. But I have the high quality audio off this device. Its not a perfect solution. But at the price, its way better than my alternatives. It doesnt automatically kick off the last played song when I turn on the car (the 12volt source is switched, which is what you want). But its not too bad, because the iDrive will not default back to aux in anyways. So no matter what, I have to start the car, then switch over. At that point, I can click play on the puck, and off it goes. But when I exit the vehicle, the phone stops playing, which it wont do if its plugged in directly to the lightning (itll play until you unplug the lightning cable). The only other alternative that would work is an aftermarket android unit that replaces the original iDrive panel. It can still do the idrive functions, but layers in all android apps. That of course can do bluetooth streaming. But even that is $500. This device was my last stop before going that route. It appears I have a satisfactory solution, so I will probably leave it as is.

A non-destructive mod for an older vehicle
After buying a winter vehicle with Bluetooth, my summer vehicle seemed kind of boring. (My car's built-in Bluetooth was only for calls, not for music *sad face*) The SoundTek A1+ was an easy setup: Plugged in, turned on my car, and was immediately detected by my phone. *happy face* The only downside was in peeling off the paper from the adhesive ring: instead of pulling just paper, the adhesive and a layer of cushioning foam came with it! A replacement adhesive foam ring (included) saved the day. I've had issues with other products requiring me to crank the volume; I'm pleased to say this has a strong output for an older vehicle's aux input.

Inexpensive, great sound, easy to install
Got this for my 2010 Lancer with no bluetooth. Powered from a standard USB cable (plugged into my 12v cigarette lighter adapter). I have used this for music and phone calls. Both work perfectly. I actually like the fact that I can set a playlist and use the 3 (big, illuminated) buttons to control next/prev/start/stop without feeling the urge to touch my phone while driving. Great sound quality. 5 stars!

Great, reliable Bluetooth receiver
I'm really happy with this Bluetooth receiver. It was easy to install, powers on with the car, connects to my phone automatically and quickly and has easy controls with good tactile feedback. I mainly use it for music so haven't done too many handsfree calls with it, but haven't had any complains about voice quality.
