Already stopped working
I'm writing this review because mine already stopped working after only a little over a month of use. Came into the room it's in and was greeted by an electric smell and the heater powered off. I'm glad it didn't catch fire or anything, so it seems like the safety features worked as far as I can tell, but still kinda scary when heaters short out like this. I'm going to try getting in touch with the manufacturer to see if I can get a replacement unit. Mine might have just been a manufacturing error. As for the heater itself it seems to work pretty good, it heats the room up quickly when you use the heat levels feature, which is really nice. I bought mine for the thermostat feature though and while I'll say it works fairly well, I'm not sure the thermostat on it ever worked properly. Again I don't know if that was just how it was designed or if my unit was a fluke, but allow me to explain. I bought it because I wanted the room it was in to be kept at a slightly higher temperature than the rest of the house and it seems to only sort of do that properly. Most of the temperatures from about 74 to 80 degrees all feel about the same, and would end up leaving the room almost the same temperature as the rest of the house, which is what I was trying to avoid by buying this thing. I'm not exactly sure how the heater managed this to be honest because it would kick on periodically and blow out warm air just like you would expect. However, I would end up needing to turn the temperature up to over 81 on the unit for it to realize that I actually wanted to warm up the room. It would then slowly heat up the room like you would expect. If left like that it would heat up the room to that higher temperature, so I had to monitor it and turn it back down to the temperature I actually wanted when the room felt like it was close and then it would maintain that temperature to a degree. Annoying, but it was something I could learn to work around. That being until today when I stopped by the room and noticed the smell and the heater off and unresponsive. It gave up the ghost only a month and a half into this world so I figured I should share for others so they know this happened to mine. I didn't end up using the other features such as the motion detector or the timer, so I unfortunately can't really say how well they work. If I can get in touch with the manufacturer and am able to get a replacement unit that works properly I will update my review with my experience. EDIT: I got in touch with the DREO customer support through their website. They were quick to respond which was nice, and they sounded courteous over the emails. They were unwilling to RMA the heater and didn't act like they even wanted it back. Instead they asked to give them my PayPal so they could return the amount for the heater (which they wanted screenshots of my receipt for), which I didn't use for the purchase, and when I told them I used a credit card they offered me the refund via amazon gift card. I'm honestly not sure what I was expecting, but the process seemed a little weird to me. So I opted to simply initiate a return on amazon since I was still within the return window. I feel much less sketched out doing it that way. This review might not turn you off their products, as I'm sure their products are normally fine, but I'm not sure I will be purchasing from them in the future since the heater failed so quickly and also since it sounds like they don't have a way to replace their own products.

Great product - I was so satisfied after buying one that I came back to buy another 3
I was really positively surprised with Dreo Space Heaters. Coming from very loud units, and unhappy with the high bill from heating during winter, I was looking into a solution to bring costs down and I learned that having a thermostate set up at lower temperatures and using spece heaters to warm up only the room you are in (vs. the entire house/floor) could be a good idea. I put that to test and it really worked. The cost increase in electricity was offset byt the lower expense in wood/propane, and a lot less work. Talking about the unit, it is a great quality out of the box. Really well packed, with clear instructions manual and easy to operate. I have both the standard and the one with motion sense. The motion sense is a great feature as it turns off automatically when no one is in the room (needless to say that no one in my house would ever remind to turn the heater off before leaving the room, so this is a very important benefit for me). I also love the function where you setup a temperature and it turns off after reaching it. For my kids room at night and smaller rooms like a playroom, this was the way to go. I did face an issue with one of the units I got that overheated and started smelling burnt. Dreo's customer service was prompt to respond and they sent me a new unit right away. I cannot recommend this product more. Very well done and good value for money.

Wrong color
Ordered a white one and received this one instead. I really wanted the white one and purchased it used for that reason. I had this color before and wanted to replace it. I have several Dreo heaters and they are fantastic. They all still work and I love them!

LOVE this little Heater! So far so Good!
I absolutely LOVE my Dreo motion sensor heater! It's attractive and sleek, and I love how it gives you the option to use the touch keys ontop to operate the heater as well as the remote. But here's the interesting and quite funny part. On a few occasions when I've used the remote to turn on the heater..my Lasko tower fan would also turn on. At first, I kept thinking that I was accidentally turning it on and forgetting to shut it off. But then tonight as I got out of the shower and went to turn my heater on with my remote, my Lasko tower fan once again turned on. So, I tested it again and it once again did it. Now ironically my Lasko fan didn't come with a remote control, so this is actually beneficial that the Dreo remote also turns my tower fan on and off. I just have to unplug the Lasko fan when using my Dreo heater so it doesn't turn on. But I'm very pleased with my product. I love the different watts levels so it doesn't blow the socket. I keep it on H2 but H3 is fine as well. It heats up my bedroom which is medium size pretty well. 15-20 mins on and I'm already very toasty enough to turn it off.It doesn't make a noise really but that white noise but it's actually calming. Sounds similar to my air purifier so I actually like the sound as it helps me sleep. I set the timer and it shuts off on it's own. I never leave it on unless I'm in the room, but the motion sensor feature is great for that. Definitely a great purchase so far.
