The UV light attracts small insects fast, and the glue boards keep them hidden, which is nice if you don’t want to see dead bugs. It’s quiet, has no smell, and is safe to use around kids and pets. You’ll get several replacement glue cards, so it lasts a while. Works best in darker rooms, and it doubles as a soft night light. A practical option for dealing with gnats, fruit flies, and moths indoors.

This bug trap mostly attracts bugs to where the light shines, and is ineffective at drawing moths to the sticky paper. My advice is to buy a much more effective bug zapper for less money. Plus, this item has a very difficult return experience. You get a return shipping label where you pay for shipping to Las Vegas, which is refunded when asked; however, I was told their 'system' would only allow a partial refund for my purchase. This was not the no-hassle Amazon experience I grew accustomed to.
