Easy hook up
Bolts on perfectly and works great... Good idea to use the bolts and pre install the bolt to male sure it bolts on easily, I used antisease so the threads wouldn't mess up cuz rust has set in because it's never had a hitch on it

Fantastic build and finish. Easy, hassle free installation.
I purchased this receiver hitch for my 2003 Lexus ES. It was very easy to install. I installed this alone but the hitch might be heavy for some, so it may require a second pair of hands. I didn't need to lift the car either. Took about an hour to complete the installation. I used a breaker bar to remove the factory installed brackets, one of which connects to the muffler hanger. The muffler doesn't come off so it's not an issue. I think the new bolts are long enough to use with the original brackets, if you choose to keep them, but I left them off. The installation kit includes 5 bolts and a U bar (or something). Four bolts for the frame, a fifth bolt is optional. If your car has a frame welded nut for the 5th bolt, you can use that instead of drilling one or two holes and using the included U bar. I found the frame welded nut under a black sticker on the driver side of the car, so I didnt need to drill and use the U bar. Leave the first two bolts loose and then get the remaining bolts threaded in. Tighten them all after all the bolts are in. I had to go back and loosen all 4 bolts, realign the hitch and then I was able to get the fifth bolt installed. I only needed a handful of tools; breaker bar, socket set SAE/metric with 3/8 drive (optional long sockets), 3/8 drive extension and a breaker bar. Im going to use this for a hitch bike rack but this hitch is rated to tow up to 3500 lbs.

High quality hitch but bolts did not arrive
The hitch itself is excellent, there are many videos on YouTube that give step by step instructions for installation. Once installed, The hitch is extremely stable and looks great. It's truly is hidden. The only thing on the bottom of my 2009 Toyota Camry is The hitch mount. Other brands do not have this minimalist Feature. The tongue weight for this hitch is a solid 350 pounds. Tongue weight is the force that is exerted downward on the hitch and is particularly relevant when installing something like a bike or cargo rack. This Hitch is superior for bike racks and cargo racks vs other brands because there are two supporting bars that go underneath your car and bolt into the spare tire well of the 2009 Toyota Camry. Many hitches do not have this feature, which results in a lower tongue weight, And in my opinion, less stability. As mentioned in other reviews, The shipping packaging is quite poor. There will be no box when this hitch arrives. It arrives as the solid piece of steel. The accompanying bag of bolts should be taped on. Unfortunately, Amazon does a substandard job of attaching the bolt packaging to the metal hitch before shipping. I could see the location where the bag of bolts was taped on to the hitch Before being in advertently ripped off during the shipping process. It is clear that Amazon did not adequately tape the bolts to the hitch. I would highly caution you To be aware of this fact when ordering.Amazon gave me a $30 credit because the bolts were missing. This, sadly, was the better of the mindless alternative option given by Amazon: to return the entire rack so that it could be resent with the bolts. Yes, you read that right. Return a 45 pound steel hitch so that Amazon could tape on a quarter pound bag of bolts and reship it. I am not the most environmentally conscience person, but that option is rediculous. The customer service representative explained shipping me the bolts separately would be impossible. I took the credit and bought all the bolts at Lowes.Since you will likely receive the hitch without the bolts, here are some tips when you buy them at the hardware store. All bolts are not created equal. You must purchase at least property class 8.8 (10.9 is even better) for the 4 hex bolts used near the bumper. A lower property class has inferior steel which may be unsafe. The two bolts that drive into the tire well must be grade 5 or higher. Look at the spec sheet carefully and get the exact bolt size and steel strength.Install is much easier with 2 people, but I did it myself using the tire jack that comes with the Camry. Hoist one end up with the jack and bolt it, then jack the other side up and bolt it.The product is 5/5, Amazon is 0/5 for their poor packaging and disregard for the repeated posts about item not showing up with bolts.

Installed on a 2014 Toyota Avalon.
This is a great well made hitch. Installation is not for an amateur do-it-yourselfer and you will need another person to help you hold up the hitch. I am a fairly mechanical person and have all tools needed to do this project which ended up being a hole saw, side grinder, drill, car ramps and your common hand tools. The total installation took me four hours. There is a ten minute long video on youtube that is helpful, but leaves out a couple key points. The youtube video is titled "Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Toyota Avalon - Draw-Tite - etrailer.com". Here is what the video left out: The angle bracket shown a 3:15 in the video will not be able to be reinstalled. It's funny, at 9:38 in the video he is reinstalling the bracket and then it magically disappears. Also the muffler hanger shown at 9:11 in the video really should be modified. It has an lip that curls upward, it did fit around the frame but that area is now blocked by the new hitch. The video shows putting it back on unmodified, I felt that this might allow the bolt to eventually come loose. I ground down the lip with a side grinder so it sat flush against the new hitch. Other than these things the video is a good reference on how to install the hitch. Really my only knock on the hitch itself is that the hole you have to drill out in your frame needs to be a little more centered.

Perfect fit for 2005 Camry. But packaging is bad but no worries
So yes packaging was awful. It came super chipped exposed metal everywhere. But after a trip to Walmart, a can of krylon automotive primer and krylon rust protection enamel gloss black. And an extra day if curing. It's perfectly matched.I got it delivered on 06/18/2021 and rough sand and primed it in the evening, in morning I did first coat for enamel. Then a few more coats every 5 min. And then let it cure for 8 hours. In the outside sun. And now it looks like new with a good thick coat of enamel to prevent rust. Then installation was a breeze. Watch a lot of YouTube tutorials. And if yours is slightly off or or slightly bent. I would just get some help with friends to force it. Unless it's like obviously broken bent, then raise hell with customer service. But it took about 40 min by myself. With the help of a 5 Gal bucket on it side to lift it while I put a bolt through.

Fits perfectly
My car is a 2007 Camry LE 3.5 (dual exhaust). Fits great and it's perfect for my bike carrier. As others have said it doesn't come with a draw bar but I didn't need one.

Did not exactly fit my vehicle
I have a 2020 Nissan Rogue and wanted to install this hitch for a bike rack. This hitch is the recommended hitch on Draw-Tite's website for my vehicle. The hitch itself is excellent. It fit the bolt pattern under the rogue and feels really solid. The bike rack I purchased (Swagman XC2) fit snug and also feels really solid. The only problem I had was that the hitch was not quite low enough to clear the thin metal plate which provides support for the Rogue's rear bumper. I ended up bending the bottom of the plate up a little (happens automatically when you tighten the bolts up). I would have given the rack a score of 5 stars if it had fit a little better.
