Can you turn off, or disable the audible alarms? Those are really annoying.

Hi.  This model will not let you turn off the audible alarm.  I hate this, since I had some, even one in each bedroom, and at night when everyone was sleeping and the electricity went out, all of them started to beep and I had to wake up and go room by room to turn them off.  Then I got tired and searched for a solution online and found one that worked for me (there are several guides).  I don't recommend you to do it!!! (even less if yours is still on warranty)  But if you feel comfortable, is pretty straight forward.  Just open the ups, search for the small speaker and break it with pliers or something.  The ups continued to work as usual, but without a sound when the power went out.

does this auto restart?

As far as i know. When it loses power, the battery kicks in.  Then when power is restored it switches back to using house power.  I'm not sure if that means it auto restarts, or just switches back and forth.  There is a manual reset switch on the back if the internal circuit breaker trips from a power surge.

How much weight of this unit?

The Amazon page for this item says the weight is 4.9 grams, and that is not even close to right.
I don't have a scale on which to weigh mine, but it feels like about 10 pounds, which just about 4 1/2 kg.
So, my guess is that there is a typo on the Amazon page which should read "4.9 kg".
