Great, easy to use product for a hobbyist. It has everything in it to make beautiful, giftable candles. Instructions could be improved greatly - no sizes for the vessels (we think they're 4oz and 8oz), no measurements for how much fragrance to use or soy for different size candles and embeds, which could lead to lots of wasted wax. Overall, would buy again to gift to someone who wanted a fun way to spend an afternoon.

Nice kit for the price and safer than using your stove. Some reviewers complained about lack of instructions. I did the glass candles first and here is what worked for me: Melt 300 ml of soy wax pellets for each candle. Kit comes with 3 bags and each does 2 glass candles plus a mold. The pot fits enough for 2 glass candles if you add the final cup of pellets once the rest have melted. Set the warmer to 176 degrees and add wax. Stir with a wood tongue depressor when it starts melting. When the blobs have melted add 2 ml scent per candle for a subtle scent and stir well. Some scents are stronger than others. I didn't use their metal spoon because I didn't want to scratch the metal surface. Put white sticky tab on bottom of candle jar in center. Place metal part of wick onto center of sticky tab and press gently. Thread wick thru hole in wood stick and center it. Use their metal spoon to lift up plastic handle. Carefully hold the plastic handle and put your other hand (wearing a silicone hot mit) under the bottom of the pot. Be careful the pot is tippy if only holding the handle. Use their bulb syringes to fill candle jar or pour wax into 100 ml plastic beaker and pour around wick into glass candle jar. Fill 3/4 full then put wax pot back in heater for a few minutes and stir. Then add remaining wax into glass jar to desired level. Rest it for 48 hours before burning. Review notes: If you set the warmer to maximum temperature in order to melt faster you can burn your hand when trying to pour the wax. 176 is hot enough and it was easier to pour. Scents did not drip out the hole in their plastic lid after I popped it open. I took a small flat blade screwdriver used for glasses and removed it. The bulb syringes that came with the kit did not fit into the scent bottle. I bought 1 ml pipettes from Amazon for scents. One reviewer said the candle burned too quickly. I did not think so. I trimmed the waxed wick level with the jar top. Mine burned nicely. My kit came with jasmine, lemon, mint, rose, plumeria and a lavender that didn't smell like lavender.

It had everything that I needed to start making gifts, and also great value,. The material was all accounted for easy to work with, the design of the box was very appealing. I knew exactly what it was when I unboxed it. I'm happy.

Overall this is a great kit for making candles. Every part of the kit works well. The only shortcoming is a lack of detailed directions, but, using the pictures provided, you can figure out most of it. I used it with my grandchildren, and they enjoyed it very much. For children, you have to supervise carefully because the melted wax is very, very hot.

My partner and I bought this candle making kit for a fun date night project, and as total beginners, we had a blast! It gave us almost everything we needed to get into the craft, but a few drawbacks keep it from being a 5-star product. The Good Points: Generous Wax Amount & Quality: The kit comes with a really generous amount of wax—enough to make at least 8 or more candles—and the soy wax itself is great quality. It melted down smoothly and set cleanly. Fantastic Electric Wax Melter: The electric wax melter is easily the best part of this kit. It holds temperature well, heats evenly, and makes the melting process completely hassle-free compared to traditional double-boiler setups. Fun Colors & Good Wicks: The color dye included worked really well. It was super fun experimenting and mixing colors to get custom shades. The wicks provided were also top-notch—they burned cleanly and evenly without tunneling once lit. Why I’m Docking a Star: 1. Unimpressive Fragrances: I honestly was not crazy about any of the scent oils included in the box. They felt a bit artificial/off to me. Thankfully, I had already ordered a few extra fragrance oils from a different brand beforehand, which saved the batch. 2. Awful Flower Smell: The included dried botanicals/flowers look pretty, but for some reason, they smelled terrible—like musty mothballs! I used them on my first candle, and as soon as it warmed up, that stale smell completely overwhelmed and ruined the actual fragrance. I ended up tossing the rest and using my own dried flowers and crystals instead. Note on Containers: The kit actually includes 2 clear glass jars, 2 colored glass jars, and a couple of little tins. The included jars are great, but because there was so much wax provided in the kit, I decided to grab a couple of extra small mason jars of my own since I personally love that mason jar look (shown in my pictures). Overall Verdict: Despite the stinky flowers and weak scents, the core hardware—especially the melter, wax quality, colors, and wicks—makes this well worth the price. Just plan on bringing your own fragrance oils and dried botanicals, and you’ll have a great time!

Great product, don’t hesitate to buy. My daughter is 11 years old and able to do it all by herself. We just bought some extra shapes ,because we wanted to make some Easter gifts . But with just this set , you can make Mother’s Day and Teachers Appreciation Day gifts. She forgot about TV and gadgets. It is spring break and she is busy!

This is wonderful for beginners. It not only had the basics of what you need to make candles, including the melter, which is very important, it also had labels and containers and gloves all kinds of goodies. I also love that it had dry flowers in there and some dyes and even since that can be used for making these candles or if you wanna try to use them for other purposes, it’s great for that too Love this set! Also, I had an issue with my order and it was resolved very quickly. I’m happy

Provides everything you need and is easy to do. I like that I could make just 1 candle and everything is easy to put away- not messy. Directions are basic. I had to research how much wax is needed to make a candle and also research how much fragrance oil is needed for that size.

O kit é muito bom pra iniciar a produção de velas, a panela para a cera tem termostato, o que ajuda muito, é fácil de fazer e vem com manual ensinando a fazer (mas não consta as quantidades). O kit é bem completo, vem tudo que precisa pra fazer as velas, luva, flores, embalagem para presentear, vidros e latinhas para as velas Alguns pontos não muito legais: - as essências são pequenas, então pra cada vela vai um tubo inteiro de essência. - Importante cuidar a voltagem também, comprei ele 110 e minha casa é 220, então precisei comprar um transformador - não gostei muito dos cheiros das essências, mas achei legal para iniciar, depois pretendo comprar mais Apesar disso adorei e recomendo muito
